I don't want to p1ss on your parade, but two out of two PVD coated watches I own got scratched.
One of the the first day I wore it.
Don't think I abuse my watches, because I don't.
I somewhat hope that it was the early (~8 yeard ago) PVD coated watches, was just painted black. Instead of my bad luck.
Is there anything we as a community can do to make Watcheden from lying in their descriptions?
Their website says Swiss 7750 movement when obviously it's Asian.
I for sure don't trust a dealer who lies about a such fundamental thing as the movement.
I have a 10x loupe which I'm not really fond of.
Really hard to get objects in focus.
What is the furthest away from the watch you can be with your 10x loupe?
Corruption is a main factor I think.
Don't forget the hundreds or thousands of manufacturers of watches that are willing to make some rep parts.
When China is able to fully stop the counterfeit production it will pop up in another low cost but "technically advanced" country.
Preferable a non democracy where corruption is wide spread.
