I actually tried that watch on at the Movado factory outlet store on Saturday. They were having a 70% off sale on all Ebel watches in stock. That one was marked down to somewhere around $2200 from near $6900 but I was looking for the 1911 Discovery model which they didn't have. What a beauty.

I noticed on some other watches that I have been watching on that site, they changed the regular price and made the Labor Day sale price the same as the regular price from the last time I looked. So not really a Labor Day sale after all.

An early birthday present to myself

Wearing this one again today.

The rep strap is just a tad wider at the end than the gen so it doesn't sit correctly in the buckle. The gen strap will fit perfectly in the buckle.

These are the reps that I have as of today. Can't seem to stay away. I have liquidated at least twice since I started collecting a year ago but they keep coming back.

most dealers seem to have the ETA 2824 movement, was wondering who has it with the 2836?
Although it is listed as 2824 on dealers sites, it is actually a 2836. I know mine is and it has been discussed in other threads on RG.

Funny how ten years ago 42mm was a "monster" and now it's "Smallish"
I have to admit all the old dress Rollies and Pateks look like ladies watches now -
I'll say. I just dug out an old Movado Museum watch that I wore a very long time ago. Not much bigger than a quarter. LOL
