Please tell me the contrast is just off on that.

the color is exact like on real watch. saw one live just saturday. it is beautiful, I am really considering to buy one but it is not cheap....

that is the strangest thing, it wasnt even close to anything, not even a touch on the glass...I am totally puzzeled. like it got melted!

I am under the same impression. more than broken it it looks like melted.... very strange

Hi Friends, Just a quick update after the last add-on

well John I was in hope to trick at least one or two people b4 being caught. yes, you right it is a gen. It was abt 3 month that I was waiting from the AD (a trusted jeweler friend of the family) and just jesterday when we were at the shop to pick up our wedding rings he told me if I wish to wear a daytona on the wedding .....

well guys not many words are needed for this ..... I am now a proud owner of this beauty .... tell me your opinion pls

However, considering this was done on a budget, the whole thing cost me less than $150, and was done entirely with rep parts, I can live with the flaws!

My congratulations !!!! While looking at the pictures and reading all the ork you have done and pats you replaced I tought you spent very much more than that !!!! Well I would be mote than pleased to live with those flaws, in my personal opinion you did a great job and a very nice watch. Enjoy it and wear it well,

It looks good to me, and the movement it is a GEN indeed ; in my opinion the movement alone is worth the price

With the economy being where it's at, there are TREMENDOUS watch buying opportunities in the used/resale market. I would keep an eye on ebay, risti and Timezone for some killer deals. I'm maxed out with my PAM collection with 4 gens and 3 reps right now, but there are some deals I would have fallen over for last year if they were available.

Well for my gens I tend to buy them new or sometimes used but always from shops I know as I prefer to see and feel the watch on my hands before making the final decision.
