Its a bit late but I am 100% certain it's a fake! painful experiece for the buyer but he should know about mm20 watches before pulling the trigger. Wrong box, no papers,m wrong caseback etc.

Am usure if the crystal is an original. I have checked many mm20 from rg members and the net and have never seen any crystal that looks like your unless you are one of the lucky ones to be able to source the first run mm20s. The curvature of the crystal reminds me of my dsn but with its ar strpped. You may want to double check from your seller. looks great anyways.

wusste natuerlich nicht das Sead nicht nach Deutschland schickt (sorry). Er ist der beste dealer fuer eine pam111 in sachen preis,qualitaet und finish e.g. Snembo CG, DSN hands & dial, good lume etc. Der einzige Nachteil waere nur die Anti-Reflective coating welches man fuer einen kleinen aufpreis entfernen kann. Torobravo waere ne (gute?) alternative da er direkt aus Spanien liefert und seit kurzem seine Crownguards durch Hijack ge-upgraded hat. Um ehrlich zu sein ist dsn auch nicht viel teurer allerdings nicht die beste addresse fuer ne pam 111h. Er is beruechtig fuer seine fiddies aka pam127 und pam 217h welches meiner Meinung nach viel besser auschaut als ne standard pam111. Preislich liegt die fiddy bei 460 und 430 fuer die pam217. hab mir ne fiddy kuerzlich zugelegt und versuche einige Fotos hochzuladen. Es waere vieleicht moeglich ueber einen umweg die uhr von sead zu bestellen falls du einen vertrauensvollen member kennst or vielleicht ueber einen Moderator? Viel Erfolg auf der suche.

Kunden service und Kommunikation beim pwc ist einfach Scheisse. Ich wuerde eher eine from Sead with mods fuer 400usd bestellen. Viel bessere Qualitaet die sich langfristig auszahlt. Falls du das noetige kleingeld hast solltest du eventuel eine Pam vom Davidsen erwaegen Preislich liegt sie zwischen 400-460usd (mit Swiss uhrwerk). Die Qualitaet is top und Preis ist sehr gut fuer was man bekommt. Viel Glueck.

honestly speaking its not realistic to get the best pam from any European dealers. LH DSN are the best but also pricey. for a pam111h I wud recommend sead which offers his super modded version for approx 400usd and is build with the best components you can get. you can find him in RG under sead1999. I was lucky to get a EL fiddy ( with swiss eta !) with a crystal without AR and that looks way better!

I have removed the AR on a pam002 and a 061 and did it without removing the crystal. To remoove the AR towards the outer edge of the crystal I used tops ( the same same as You use for cleening Your ears and You have to rub a long time but You will get ALL AR removed in the end)

Of course it is better and easier to remove the crystal but I was lazy and did it this way!

Use the same polish that is used for cleaning ceramic ovens, I have useed that on several saffirecrystals with very good result

But You have to work and rub a lot to remove the AR

thx for the tip. Its definately worth trying and shud not be a problem even for a noob . I wondered if the ceramic cleaner cud potentially harm the ss casing i.e. resulting in oxidation and color change. oh pls pm me ur fiddy specs and price if you dont mind.

The Zigmeister is based in CANADA. I m quite surprised how good the fiddy from andrew look like. have you done any mods to it except of the lume job e.g H3 pinion, CG and pin etc. I am gonna get my dsn fiddy version anytime soon but I know its gonna have a very strong ar . Any suggestion as of how to remove the outer ar without removing the crystal?

Also many have said the Asian movements are just as reliable as the Swiss movements. If this is the case, why do we pay extra for the swiss version, is the finish better?

Have you tried to contact anyone from the board dealers yet? I am sure they can help you in sourcing a replacment A6497 movement. If you don't even mind to fit a sterile movment I wud recommend getat or jackson tse. both offer some good looking asian clones with different upgrade options such as swaneck, pvd or skeleton at decent prices.

As most members have said that both movement are pretty much bombproof and reliable. The main reason for the price difference I can think of is I the cheaper labour cost in Asia compared to Europe. Its just up to your personal preferences really. In some regard the asian movement are said to be better replication in terms of accuracy movement design like flared spokes, notches, high beat and some even have the incablock?.
