Hi I've just noticed that the thread seems to have stripped on the crown of an Omega Planet Ocean I have. When I push the crown back after altering time/date the crown won't seem to catch the thread to screww it back completely so I can only assume that the thread ahs stripped. Does anyone know of a UK based watchsmith who could fix this for me Cheers in advance!!! BA

Being a total noob I was just sitting here wondering whether we're likely to see any xmas sales from any of the dealers on the site? Is it something that ever happens? Definitely after a nice little xmas gift for myself!!!

Hi All I'm Ben from the UK. So glad to have found such a well informed and interesting group. Seems like there a number of posters on here who know their stuff Always been interested in watches and have a few Gen and a few Rep My collection so far GEN - Omega Seamaster and a couple of nice Tissots. REP - Rolex Daytona, Breitling Navitimer & Tag Monaco Can't wait to get stuck into some serious reading!!!! Cheers BA
