  2. Anyone selling a UN Bracelet? send me a PM

  3. Glad you liked the SuperOcean Arthur1 Interesting choices. I went through a Zenith phase once - but I couldnt make my mind up on a model to go for. Now im completely off them :-) For Pams, everything said above is true. The AR is shocking and there are incorrect features as compared to the gen, which might make you think twice if getting a rep close as possible to the gen is your thing (it is for most of us!). The DSN is the best choice, but I see you are looking to pay at the lower end. In this case, why not try out the lefty pam from the link? - you may love it. You'll get an idea of what your money can buy and might want to upgrade in the future. try it out and see - good luck as for me, ive been deciding for months what my next rep should be... It'll either be a SINN U1 (eta), DSN PAM 111, or EBEL BTR 137 (I've trialled the quartz - nows the time for the upgrade to A7750)
  4. awesome pictures, I too thought it was a Gen. Great detail in the box work, tags, dvd, it all speaks of quality Let us know what is on the DVD
  5. Genius - it worked Its all fixed now! Two more questions Keep bearing in mind in a watch repair noob, although this rep has many mistakes compared to the gen, one of the features of the gen is that it has black pushers. Ive spent a while googling for black rubber caps to slip over the pushers, but i cant find anything this small (4mm x 1mm) so now im looking at types of paint that would be appropiate - any ideas? or is this a bad idea would a local watch repair guy be able to, cheaply, change the white date wheel to a black one?
  6. Hi all I wonder if you can advise. I picked up a beautiful new ebel BTR 137, this time in quartz !(the a7750s are quite expensive), as you can see from the pictures the chrono is not dead center on 12. You may also observe that the dial is slightly off center to the anti-clockwise direction. Im contemplating a DIY job on this watch, but Im a complete noob at watch repair. As you can see from the pictures the caseback is one piece and the way in looks like through removing the 5 screws holding the crystal in place. But once in what do I do? (1) Nudge the chrono with a screwdriver? (2)try to rotate the dial clockwise with a finger tip? (I think this might not work) Some help required... here are the pics here is the one piece caseback thanks for reading

  23. A few days ago I was trying to close the clasp on my black face Daytona, requiring me to push my thumb and middle finger together, and received a shooting pain up my right forearm.
