Update: there was some problem with the bank wire, it's been straighten out, Received QC pictures today. I'm relieved .

Anyone tried to fit a gen insert in a BP 16600? Have TC hands and bracelet and gen crown and tube but the insert really bothers me.

Biggest tell is the lume on the hands has a slightly green color, the valve is matte. I have one, great except for the hands which I plan on replacing.

I've gone through with a all gold gen in my bag. They wanted to look at it, said they can "see" through the gold. I wear a rep frequently on trips, no one has ever questioned the watch. I do usually take it off, seems like the airports I use all have body scanners.

I have a MBW 5513 and it had the same problem, had the keyless reset and it worked for a few days. Seems the Chinese took some parts out when converting for the no date model. You need a double corrector wheel. Frie part# A/8229, 8 bucks, My was changed 1.5 years ago and no further problems.

The web site shows that it does have a HE valve, but it came without one?

The crown looks too big also, might just be the effect of the CG. My gen GMT, sorry for the crappy picture, travelling and only have a Blackberry.

I have a MBW 5513 with a gen crystal, it looks way better with the gen.

A tropic 25-19 is the correct crystal. I have a MBK 5513 and thought the rep crystal looked fine but the the gen has a sharpness that the rep just can't match. Worth the cost and effort IF it'll fit.

Here's the one The Master (Ubi) did for me.

I just got one 2 days ago from Andrew and it comes with a regular clasp not the glide lock type. No reason the glide lock type wouldn't fit if you can source one.

I've had HKTAN make straps for me. Any width and length whatever you want, pretty quick too. Very pleased with the quality and communications.

I just got home to find a package in the mail. Since I hadn't heard from you since our last email I figured you just sent the watch back..I was bummed but understood your reluctance. I am on the fence about the RG version of this one.Looks great but the rep back says Stainless Steel.Not sure if I can make her wear that.

Personally won't consider a TT/gold plated watch unless it was for very limited use. I have no experience with plated watches but my wife is pretty hard on watch and assume it would have multiple scars pretty quickly, certainly won't hold up as a daily beater IMHO.

Cartier Ballon Bleu, nice small(28mm) elegant watch. My wife has a Chanel J12 and a Tag link and the Cartier is probably her next.
