  1. Thats a seriously nice watch marti!! Ive been off the scene for a while but gonna order one. Thanks for letting me know regarding the sub dials. Ill be getting it from josh. Appart from the 7750 being slightly thicker and having a display case wot are the differances? The 7750 is twice the price! Love the flush dw on the quartz too so think ill just get it cause ive had bother with 7750's in the past.

  2. Hi there. Im probably not the best person to answer this but i had a similar problem with a breitling avenger skyland and i got a case back tool of ebay and a set of jewellers screwdrivers for aronnd £10. I opened the watch up and just tightened the screw and that was it. Problem solved.

As for the watch running around 15 secs a day off track, nearly all my 7750 reps were like that but always get them serviced if i decide to keep them for a while and they run much better after that.

Hope this helps but im sure someone with some proper knolahe will tell you exactly what to do. There are some watchsmiths on here could do the service for you with no problems depending on where you are.

Hope you get it sorted but its nothing really to worry about. Fancy a grand carrera myself!! Did you get it on the bracelet or deployment?

    Cheers

  3. Hey Gio. was thinking of doing a few mods as per your tutorial to this watch. Think the bezel would look well with the paint mod. the last couple pf pic's on your post the watch looked awesome! Other than that i love this piece and im glad it arrived virtually troublr free. :)

  4. Looks good Sander. My numerials appear to be thinner than yours. Maybe i have a v3 bezel. Yours looks closer to the gen. Glad you got a good piece too. Seems to be luck of the draw from the factories on this watch as to what parts you get! Wear it well my friend.

  5. Mine arrived a couple of weeks ago and i was worried after all the reviews that i had maybe bought a lemon! However my watch seems to be a great rep, correct font on bezel, beveled DW, properly aligned date, all blue lume and is keeping great time. The only fault that i would have and its not a major issue would be the pearl is a bit yellowish but im gonna try and replace that when i can get my hands on one. Other than that very happy with it, ill get some more pics up when i get a chance. This was bought from Chris at Eurotimez and the service was great, nice people to deal with. Thanks

  6. Mine should be here from Eurotimez next week. Communication from Chris so far has been spot on, lets just hope the watch is the business! Good to hear it appears to be so close to the gen. Would love to see some side by side pic's, had the gen in my hand the other day and the first thing that i noticed was how shiny the bracelet was. Good review. Thanks

  7. thanks for that mate. Tried oiling the bracelet and then cleaned it up with some low cut car polish and it did help a lot but i was just wondering if there was anything better for getting the shine on the bracelet a bit better

  8. Hi there. Read a post on here somewhere where somebody had cleaned the bracelet on their SD OR DSSD with something and it turned the cloth black and that it must have been the left over chemicals from the factory. I cannot find the post again but i was wondering if anyone on here could give me any tips for cleaning a DSSD bracelet? dont want to damage the finish in any way. any recommendations for solutions/ cloths? Thanks in advance

  9. I am in exactly the same boat! ive been waiting to hear if wm9 are going to launch a rep or if a v4 version was going to be available. I say wait a while for a better rep with the correct numerials on the bezel and the date window like the v2. Worth the wait as it is an awesome watch.

  10. That looks great dssd rep to me but im no expert! anyone ever bought from them before? Have to say i would find it hard to buy from anyone other than the collectors on here. Would love to buy a DSSD right now but ive seen a few dodgy ones and thats why i may have to wait and see if WM9 do one
