  1. I'm new here but was wondering if anyone knows of any decent Airwolf reps? doesn't seem the trusted dealers carry watchs with digital readouts?

    Thanks all,

    Regards

    Paul

I think you're talking about the Airwolf Raven and I haven't seen one either but Andrew and Josh both have digital reps. Best thing to do is go to their section on here and find the right email then email them asking whether they have it or if it's made.

    Cheers

  2. I love Mark Nason stuff...I just wish they sold stuff with a slightly more formal look. Aldos don't last and I don't have many other options for stylish, upscale work shoes. (Pliner comes to mind but they are often a little too long).

There are more formal boots and SHOES. On the webpage, click on SLIPS. Marty (my wholesale contact) gets all of there stuff so if you see something let me know and I'll PM you his contact info. On Ebay his username is marknasonshoes.

  3. Mark Nason shoes are handcrafted in Italy and designed to complement designer denim and dress casual wear. Mark Nason is the soul of style with distinctive profiles, luxurious hand-distressed leathers and signature dragon detail. Mark Nason takes classic styles and gives them a modern, broken in finish that looks amazing with denim. The Mark Nason collection includes classic and modern styles of boots, shoes and sandals.

No matter where I wear these boots LA, Tampa, Atlanta, Phoenix or NYC they always get compliments and both men and women ask the brand and who made them. I have a wholesale contact if anyone is interested.

  4. The fiddys are Not from noob Or h Factory ;)

Its a different Factory the One who made 312 etc

Ok if that's true then why does Josh's page have it listed as " PAM127 E N-Maker " and why does Andrew claim the same thing? Is there a conspiracy in our midst? I thought we banned Grassy Knoll Replicas and put them out of business! I don't know about you guys, but I'm getting to the bottom of this!

  5. Completely disassemble and run through a ultra sonic cleaner, if you have one available. This will clear out all the grit and left over metal chips JKay mentioned. The reassemble with a light lube. I like Remington Gun Oil or LPS#1. They both leave a dry film behind and the Rem Oil has Teflon!

Never would of thought of that Mike but GREAT advice!!!!

  6. Hard to narrow it down. It's really what YOU like the best. Go into a dealer and try several on. If there is a mirror, hold the watch up and bracelet against your chest. Look in the mirror and see how others see it, instead of just looking down at it. This is how I have chosen every watch since a salesman showed me the trick at Tourneau. If you are looking for a straight up diving watch, check out http://www.specialopswatch.com/cart/products.cgi?action=categories I'm a dive instructor and have heard nothing but good things about these watches.

  7. I had a Motors T that I sold last year...although the running secs were @ the 9 instead of the proper 3...It was overall...a very well made rep.

If I were to purchase another Bentely version...It would be this one. open/close/open again. http://www.1-pc8838....800-p-3681.html

I dont know how the AR is on the gens...but the light rep AR might be good enough...dont know for sure.

But if I were to pick one up I would have a lume job and possibly jump on a AR run...probably get it serviced If I planed on keeping it.

Then I would say.... "you would have one hell of a nice 6.75"

If you really want something special...check this out ohmy.pnghttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ImVgz2FcEB8&feature=related

Feel like a newb for asking but how do I "get in on an AR run?" Oh BTW the motors in the video is nice. I'm not crazy about the orange but fond of the brown dial.

Thanks for the info Max. tried the link but it only went to the main page.

  9. I owned a gen GMT (bracelet in my avatar)..,the rep (only in quartz) is garbage, the other is not repped and would be garbage as well. When it comes to Breitling reps, move on from these models. The best short advice i can give. But trust it.

Thanks for the response Dave. Very helpful...do you feel the same about the 6.75 as well? I never had any problems with it.

  10. Im excited about the watch even with the minor flaws. Just wish there was a Luminor 1950 Regatta Rattrapante Ultimate rep :thumbsupsmileyanim: As far as I can tell, both King and Josh have the same watch. I've messaged both on watches in the pas and Connie seems a lttle faster on replies than Josh. What's everyone's preference as the better seller?

  11. Hahaha ... just trying to be constructive here.

    You mentioned the following flaws:

    1. Font on Tachy is incorrect

    2. Oval on Tachy hand is too small

    3. Second hand at 3' is incorrectly lumed.

Agree on #1 but more of a boldness issue than font. But I am not seeing the issue you have on #2 and #3 - these things are never going to be 100% like gen and mostly only noticeable in the realm of loupes, so I wouldn't think these are "flaws" per se.

Very good observation. Overall it appears to be one of the best out of the box reps!

  12. That gen pic is too over-exposed to tell whether the color of the blue chrono hand matches the rep. But I am not sure it does. I will be very very impressed if it does. Also, the hob nail texture on the rep dial is not pronounced enough and hard to see (or maybe its just the pics). On the gen, the hob nail texture is very apparent at all angles. I am not saying this is a bad rep but those would be my concerns if I were to get one.

Yeah...what you said :) Sounds significantly more eloquent when you say it!
