Hi guys,
I've been pondering this dilemma of buying a quartz vs an automatic movement watch.
Assuming that the external design and quality are nearly identical. Which would you go for?
Quartz Pros:
+ No need to service
+ Cheaper
+ More accurate
Quartz Cons:
- less like the Gens
- design might not be as good
Auto Pros:
+ closer in design to Gens
+ smooth seconds hand
+ nicer design
Auto Cons:
- expensive to buy
- prone to faults
- thickness
- expensive to service

The pics on ebay are not very high rez so it's hard to see it's a fake

Is there are thread where the forum explains the different levels of support membership and what if any benefits that brings to the supporter.
i.e. is the upgraded membership simply a tool to support the forum or do the supporting members enjoy some additional benefits... would be great to know more!

Hi guys,
I see lots of you have a fantastic tick vintage looking leather straps on your PAMs.
Were you do you guys get yours from?
I'd like to get my first PAM soon but I would really like a nice looking strap.
Any suggested shops or dealers greatly appreciated!

Hey is it true that 1 out of 2 replicas sent to Sweden get confiscated by customs?
I so want to buy one but would not want to risk it if that is the case...
Can anyone shed some light on the issue?

Well a "true" RAW file from a DSLR does not open as a JPG at all. Also most fashion houses work with RAW and TIFF formats which can then be saved as JPGs or other files.
TIFF vs BMP vs JPG
