Looks like the majority prefer the Ingy. I must admit that I like the Ingy best, but I wanted to hear what you guys thought, especially those of you that have both reps in stock.

Question1: I’m thinking of buying a new rep and I need some advice from you experts. I currently own: Rolex Submariner LV (PTs “perfect”), Rolex Submariner (“classic” from josh), PAM 127, PAM217 and a PAM28 (just sold). Since I own both PAMs and Rolex, I would like to try another brand this time. I was thinking about either the IWC Ingy from EL or the Omega Planet Ocean which Josh is currently selling. What would you have chosen? Question 2: I want to buy a rep for my mom this Xmas and I really don’t know much about woman’s reps, what do you guys think about the Rolex DateJust or do you have better alternatives

I’m thinking of buying an Ingy. I think this rep is fantastic from what I have seen on the forum. But as usual I have some second thoughts . What’s so important about AR, scratches? Do you guys think it is possible to change the crystal to a genuine or will this be overkill with respect to price? Are there any other issues I should be aware off before hitting the PayPal trigger?

And why is that? MBW Vintage is nice, but expansive because you want modifications, right?

Today I received my after mark bezel insert, bought from a seller on eBay for 20 USD. It definitely looks better than the original. The biggest difference is that the after mark bezel insert has “smaller” and better printing. Now I will try to replace it, which glue does you guys use for this operation?

My Rolex Submariner stops working when it is faced down (dial pointed towards the ground). Anyone experienced this before?

It looks to me like the “standard” reps have too large date mags? What about the band, can I replace it with a better one, without going bankruptcy? I just purchased a PTs “Ultimate” Submariner (LV version). I think the rep is great, especially the dial. What I would like to do is to change the bezel insert with the original: http://www.ofrei.com/page_151.html#2533 And replace the band with an original one. Do you guys think this is possible, anyone done this before on the PTs “Ultimate” Submariner?

Is the date magnifier correct on this replica? Left picture is from PT, pic 2 and 3 are gens taken from eBay.

Decision made, I will go for the Breitling rep. Which color, I like the white version best, any comments on that issue? Are all the dealers selling the same version atm (Breitling)? Which dealers are located in EU? I have used EL and Joshua; maybe I should try a local one this time? (Maybe I buy both (Omega), depending on the total price) Thanks for the replies.

I am considering buying a new rep. I’m looking at Explorer 2, pam187, Breitling GT and Planet Ocean. If you guys would pick one of these reps, which one should I choose? I currently have: PAM127, Rolex Sub SS and a Rolex yacht-master.
