  1. I have alligator one strap that I bought from the watch boys. I use it on my daily beater watch and it has help up as well as it was the first day I got it. I would buy from them again.
  2. You can get them from any IWC dealer. Will cost you roughly $1K though.
  3. Sweeeet deal. Thanks for sharing. Also, great collection.
  4. Hope it is a good one!
  5. Congrats on 100 posts.
  6. That watch rules. My fav AP RO by far.
  7. I agree, this is a great watch. Get it now while prices are still 'reasonable'. It's getting more attractive to collectors all of the time. Zenith's watches are highly regarded and their new lines are spinning out of control which is making the vintage pieces more collectable. The black and white one is great too.
  8. WOW
  9. Great post Jon! This is a great reference.
  10. Good to know! Thanks for the info.
  11. Great strap choices. They look great!
  12. Unfortunately if it was sold, the offer may have been deleted. Are you sure it was offered on this board?
  13. Dang... I do not have any sewing skills. I don't mind losing the buckle, but I would hate to mess up the strap. Maybe I could borrow a dremel.
  14. LOL!! Admin, I am very happy to hear that things are beginning to turn around for you. That is great news about the job! London is a great city, you will love it there! I wish you very much success in your new position. Hopefully this means that you will still be hanging around here. I wish you the best Amigo. Oh, and enjoy the time off!
  15. Is it possible to remove a sewn in buckle from a strap and replace it with a screw in buckle? I am eyeing an MF 24/24 strap, but I'm not crazy about their buckles. I was thinking of replacing it with one of the nicer Europelly screw-in types.
  16. Frickin' georgeous!!
  17. How could the subdials be off like that? Doesn't the gen use the 7750 movement? Is the case size off or something?
  18. Hi dabom, In short, Blade disappeared for a long time with no notice of where he went. This site was created as that one spun out of control. Then one day, Blade rose from the dead and updated his site. He has explained what happened on his site and there are some discussions about it here and there. As a result, both remain in operation. HTH.
  19. Also, we have many of these in our links section: RWG Links
  20. Out of those, go for the Navatimer. It's a sweet watch.
  21. Great to see you Joe. And, I am glad to hear that you are working through the anxiety. I know that can be really tough sometimes. Welcome back!
  22. WOW. Congratulations to you and your son, Bob. What an awesome and amazing accomplishment. You must be so proud! Getting the standing ovation must have been so touching. Thank you for sharing this with us.
  23. Have safe travels in Japan! Hopefully you can find time to have fun and not work all of the time.
