I like the idea of brand specific forums. It seems that GD gets really overwhealmed and it would be nice if posts were a bit more evenly spread out. You make a good comment about watch reviews being posted all over the place. That is not good. I don't like the idea of merging the Knowledge Base with forums like 'Help' and the newbie area. The knowledge base is supposed to be a central location for all of the great informative posts that people create. So often, great posts get buried never to be seen again. Putting all of these posts as stickies over time would be too much IMO. I think a sticky in the newbie area explaining this may be good. I think your theory of 'less is more' is a good one. Navigating can be a pain with so many forums and sub-forums all over the place.

I could be wrong, but I think the gold omega lettering boxes are used for the gold watches, and the silver writing it used for the silver (ss) watches. I know Rolex does that too. It looks real to me. I think having the box is a great addition.

Moved to GD from RWG Suggestions since it is not a board related issue. I would suggest sending the picture to your dealer and have them resolve the issue. Any respectible dealer will fix it. They may send you a new watch or dial most likely.

Hey guys, It was me who posted the pictures on TimeZone. I apoligize if I have offended anybody. That was not my intention. Call me what you will, but I was merely protecting gen owners from getting scammed by those who buy these replicas and sell them as genuines. It happens all of the time as you know. It won't take long for these to appear on eBay and other sites and be mis-represented. It would not surprise me to see them on TZ as well. This is a damn good rep. I was not saying anything bad about replicas or doing anything to cause any problems here. I was simply protecting some fellow collectors on TimeZone so that they do not get screwed by scammers. That is a far worse scam in my opinion than selling an overpriced replica to someone who at least knows they are buying a replica (i.e., replicacenter). I think we all do not like to see people get scammed. I did not (and would not) post a link to ELs photo album there. There is no point in drawing attention to any dealers IMO. I'm not sure who that person was. I hope you understand the basis behind that, and I am sorry if I have made offence to you.

WOW Admin. That is absurd! A company like Breguet should step up and take care of this for you. I don't care where the watch was purchased. If you had dropped it that is one thing, but a faulty clasp is an entirely different story. Keep us posted on how it turns out. I am very curious about this. Also, do you have any insurance on your watches? That should be covered. I would find a new AD.

Tonton is right. These would be the same watch. Working with Paul is like rolling the dice. More potential headaches and pain. Joshua on the other hand is like dealing with Nordstrom. Great support and service.

Crappy version. Get the one w/ the unitas movement in it (where the seconds dial covers the 6). It's much better.
