I have heard from a lot of friends that its not a great film...looks like a typical 'too much hype' situation.

I couldn't agree more. I saw it Saturday night. It was a decent movie. The book was better though. I was surprised that we got a seat. At 6:00 we decided to go to a 7:00 show. The theater was full but we got in.

Anyone have a take on Hanks comments at the end of the movie? It seemed like he was waffling a bit on the movies message to appease the 'believers'.

Have fun and post some pics. I wish I could be there!

I got caught up in the spirit of the project. I was a new member of RWG and I thought it was a cool idea. The watch is not one of my favorites and rarely gets wrist time. It reminds me of a t-shirt I got many years ago when I entered my first bicycle race. It's not my favorite t-shirt, I never wear it, and frankly I didn't do that well in the race. But, I've had the shirt forever and when I come across it I'm reminded of a happy time in my life. I think in years to come I'll see the RWG watch in my box and it will remind me of when I first discovered the world of reps.

I regret that I will not be able to attend the lunch. My grandfather passed away early Friday morning. He was 92 and in poor health so his passing was not unexpected but it's still somehow a shock.

I have to be in Dallas by Monday for the funeral. Unfortunately, the $816.20 that I have to pay for a last minute flight has set me back and I simply cannot afford the trip to LA.

Thank you Esmarc for your efforts. I was really looking forward to meeting you guys and seeing a part of the US that I don't get to often.

My bigger watches get noticed the most. PAMs get some attention but definitely my orange PO.

That was a class move by Pippo. He held off the pack for almost 400 meters! On the other hand, he didn't do any work in the break either.

Did anyone check out the race this weekend? We had decent TV coverage in the US for a change.

I took a last look at RWG (the elder) today. Glad I'm here but wistful, too.

I like some polls so much that I wish I could vote over and over and over again.
