  1. Yeah, if only the links were offset at an angle.....
  2. All right. I can't wait to see the before and after shots next. Nice.
  3. I really like that vintage TransOcean also. I hope you find one someday. As for your project, great job on polishing the DLC, and I really like that gen dial and a/r combination. The watch looks awesome! Thanks for sharing.
  4. Sweet M! Could you link me up to a higher res version of that pic? I think I'd like to make a wallpaper out of it.
  5. Thanks guys. FF and Mike, I totally agree with you about not being a gold watch guy - I don't like to wear any gold jewelry. But I do wear it when my father in law is in town (since he gave me the watch) so it's gotta be comfortable and the bracelet works for that.
  6. So I've been looking for a bracelet for my 70's era Breitling for a long, long time. The watch came originally with a cheap leather strap that is long gone and was never offered on a bracelet, so I've been wearing it on other leather straps which look pretty good. I've always liked to have a bracelet option for my watches, but I could never find one to go with this watch. I finally found one that I think works pretty good and it's comfortable too. It's a NOS gold tone bracelet, also from the 70's, from Times Of Plenty and pretty much completes the retro look. The color match is not quite perfect, but almost and I really like how the watch side end links blend into the side of the watch. Also the brushed surface of the bracelet matches pretty good with the sunburst style surfacing on the watch case. What do you all think? Breitling Model 1451
  7. Congrats man. Thanks for sharing the collection and all the effort you put in as one of the "Rockstar moderators".
  8. Thanks guys. Especially you Porno-man!
  9. I would like to wish HikeUSA well as he embarks on an experience of a lifetime - his trip up Mt. Everest. He offered up for sale his beautiful Cortebert pocket watch and (as some of you know my fondness for Railroad watches) I eagerly took the deal. I hope this helps him attain his goal as he has sure helped out my pocket watch collection. Here are some quick shots I took last night in my haste to get them posted, please excuse the quality since lighting was less than optimal. Anyway Hike, good luck on your trip. You-The-Man!
