Thanks all. I'm amazed at the capabilities of some of these phones now. This one does 8 mp and like Chrono said, some models have panoramic capability. It does take some practice to get the frame and focusing correct (that shot took me 4 tries) It has a flash, editing functions, resizing for applying to contacts, different scene and light settings... they should call them cameras with a phone function. I haven't messed with the video feature yet.

I just recently got an HTC EVO and, needless to say, one of the first things I did was take a picture of my watch (I know, I've got the sickness). This one's a quick and dirty and resized for the board, but I'm really happy with the outcome.

This series cracks me up: How do you post the video and not just a link?

I was just wondering if frequent exposure to light ( eg., charging up for lume pictures) would cause the lume in the watch to degrade at a faster rate when I came across this article. Lumiosity in Watches I immediately knew I had to share it with the family. Probably old hat to some here, but maybe it's a good source of general knowledge, I think.

Nah, just a beginning collector with an interest in early Railroad watches.

I have a chain and a pouch. I use either one depending on the circumstances. It is a screw off, open face dial cover. Railroad watches need to be open faced.
