Being new to the hobby I kept searching for some technical term (lol). I'll be waiting and watching for that V2 as I've haven't found a good deal on an affordable modded rep yet.

V2 is out.  No big changes except for the new crown, brushed case back and AR coated sapphire.  Nothing else has changes as far as I know.

You must be confusing the 111 with the 177 I also mentioned in this thread. I just double checked Andrew's site and the $158 111h shows non-swan neck.

And mine definitely has no swan neck. You will probably notice the beveled gears that aren't standard on this movement. I added those.

@andy - The cannon pin does look good in the pix I posted, in reality though, it is recessed.

Sorry, I misread "Andrew" as "Angus" because both are offering the PAM111h for $158. Angus' has the swan neck.

I just got my Omega Seamaster GMT from the Aspire Crazy Sale (will post a review with pics soon). It was shipped very quickly and I'm quite happy with it EXCEPT for one thing . I can set the GMT hand but it doesn't hold time with the rest of the watch . I'll set it at 12 (for example) and 6 hours later, it is barely past 2 . What can be wrong?

how does it sound compared to the asian 7750? I have an IWC GST with the asian 7750 in it and it sounds scratchy when the rotor spins. i'm not exactly sure how "smooth" a swiss movment is supposed to sound. do you mind if i ask you how much your swiss 7750 was?

Seems a bit steep, as my Swiss-certified watchmaker charges only $60 for a full service, including strip-down, cleaning and lubrication.

any chance he's in canada? or will do work mailed in to him?

The "adjusted price" for moneybooker orders is on the realm of about 7%. This information posted IS CORRECT. I think this is because it converts the $159 USD to EUR (or whatever currency it was, i can't remember) and then reconverts it back to USD when it charges our credit cards. This addes approximately 7% to the actual price listed on the website- depending on the day and depending on the exchange rate. despite this additional cost, i can't find the Omega Seameaster GMT for that kind of price, so i'm going to order as soon as my account is set up. think of the price descrepancy with moneybooker as a shipping fee... it takes the sting out of it.

i don't see any of the "sale" prices on his website. am i missing something?

is it easy to oil a 7750 movement? i'm getting a IWC GST from EL and want to make sure this watch will last when it gets here.
