  1. Hey guys!

    I've been searching for this forum, regarding finding a replacement pearl for my submariner 116610LN V2. Yesterday I realized it was gone :(  ... still tried to search it on my house floor with obviously not much of a success... I've been searching the forum but I couldn't find any solutions besides ofrei (which I've seen and was not very convinced with the quality).

    Can anybody help me with a replacement?  I would deeply appreciate it

    Regards!

  2. My beaten up 5517 . Damn I love this watch

    (Ive been using it without the bezel assembly for the past 3 years, it somehow got lost in the ocean while swimming)... I kind of got used to the incomplete version..but.. does anyone by any chance has a spare bezel assembly to sell? (a 5513 would do great since I was able to rescue the bezel insert)

    Cheers,

  3.   Hey guys and girls  (Its been quite a while since my last post here);

    My brother was recently in Shanghai, and as usual the question "do you want something from here?" popped in... and my obvious answer was " Of course I do! A cheap rep".. And it was indeed cheap.

    I didn't want to go to the obvious submariner choice, mostly due to the  "you will cry in pain when you see it" issue, and since my brother doesn't actually knows how to differentiate a watch from an orange, ive sent him a picture of an explorer I and the " do not under any circumstance spend more than 70 usd on it...". And so he did..

    I ended up with a strange explorer that I quite like!.. and it costed 50 usd.... (no idea where he got it, and I don't think he has either).. and being not an expert or even close to that, I wanted to share a few phone pics of my new weird rolex...

    I would love some opinions about it.. and sorry about the crappy pics

    Cheers,

    A.

  6. It's weird how that happens, isn't it? I originally joined to find decent Omega's. Now the only one I have is the original one I bought in downtown LA. I got bit by the Tudor & Rolex bug as well. I've been up and down with my rep count, and now I'm down to 4. For the last several months, I only had three.

    As for making your watch your own, I feel the exact same way. I know every ding, nick and scratch on my Tudor - and every one was one that I did in my day to day life. Those little subtle marks are what make that Tudor mine and why I love wearing it so much every single day. :thumbsupsmileyanim:

    Amen to that my friend... i feel you.. :)

  7. Brilliant! making a watch "your own" is one of the finer points of this hobby. Some may disagree on the level of distress needed for a vintage piece but that's what makes us and our watches individuals.

    ohh..he's mine alright..i didnt distress him..i just gave him a context... :))))... burn to shine
