  1. I'm relatively new here, so I apologize if this isn't the place to ask this...   I would love to get the groups opinion on a good "kit" (or just collection of essentials) to start working on watches.   Can someone guide me on which brand / model of tools to look at (and possible which to stay away from)?

I have several Rolex and Panerai reps now and a few have issues.  I want to be able to take the caseback off, movement out, and do basic work on the watches.

    I appreciate your time!

  3. So how 'bout we all go and take a couple of Valium, sit back and relax. As soon as Admin gets back we will attempt to get it all sorted.

    Offshore

How do you expect me to be able to buy my Valium (I prefer vicodin BTW) ;) with no RWG cash!?!?

Actually, that's not a bad idea... How about setting up a RWG Illegal Drug ring, like the casino, but we buy and sell drugs... Oh, even better, how about a prostitute section!!! (we could buy women AND drugs!!!)

    ;)

Hehe, thanks for looking into it...

  4. Man... I´m really getting into this.

Just ordered my first PAM111H from Precious Time.

He sent me an email this morning that it is on it´s way. (review will follow as soon as it gets here)

And I can´t do anything else than already considering the next order. :Jumpy:

WOW..... what will be next? Maybe a nice 212? Fiddy? Power Reserve?

    It´s the PAM-FEVER!!!!!

Are you crazy!?!? You MUST use proper protection and avoid prolonged exposure...

    PURELL is your best-friend!!! ;)

  5. Ok, so I'm on a roll... (or off my meds, or whatever might be most appropriate to say about me right now)

Captions below, and feel free to "chime" (get it?) in with your own...

"Mr. Bear, risks life and limb (or fur and stuffing) each week as he makes the trek to wind the clock"

    "Rapunzel, Rapunzel...

  6. The irony is the class of people who buy real panerai are not the type who takes pictures of them with guns and put them on the internet.

Haha, this is quite possibly the post that I have the biggest issue with...

So let me get this straight... Are you calling ME low class??? I believe you are, and you're basing that on the fact that I have posted pictures with reps and guns... HOWEVER you are also in the same breath calling people who own "real Panerai" of higher class that the others who have "reps" thereby calling all the users here low class...

Additionally, there are over 15k worth of "real" watches in this picture, (and many more that I didn't drag out for the shoot) so your logic is flawed, since I do own "real" watches, and still I post with firearms...

I am really not bothered by you calling me low class, but I am surprised that you would say such about ALL the other posters here...

  7. Trust me it looks good on the wrist... :D (and you do realize that was compared to a ladies Datejust)

Is it 54mm??? I thought for sure it was 47mm... ???

I'm a pretty big guy (6'3", 230lbs) and it doesn't look out of place...

    J

Sorry but 54mm????? Pretty dumb looking. What's next, strapping a wall clock to our wrists with a pants belt? A Navatimer is about as big as I'll go even with my big meat paws.
  8. I thought clasifying the Moss 500 as a "real" gun was the funniest part of this thread. :bleh::lol::thumbsupsmileyanim:

I was going based on other's opinion of "size matters" and the fact that when people ask about my carry weapon and I tell them it's a Glock (not to mention usually a smaller model, although sometimes I go with a G29) the response is usually "isn't that a plastic / girly gun?"

    =)

So now you have me curious, on what are you basing the 500 to not be a "real" gun??? Size / Price / Performance / Dependability???

What is your "real gun"???
