See, and it would bother the hell out of me. Thats a big selling feature that they've replicated the TAG movement correctly. Having owned a similar gen and sold it, this "resemblance" attracts me to filling the loss with this rep. In this hobby, it is interesting to see what details bother one person, while another couldn't care less about.

After a lot of search, I have some questions because this specific model, it isn't very popular
so:
How accurate is the rep out of the box?
Anyone bought it?
Flaws on the date window,movement...?
Which is best:this one or the Link?
Thank you

Noob questions:
What is the "pearl pattern finish"?
If this is supposed to be a true swiss sw200 movement shouldn't all movements be the same?
This is how the gen came out, with a pearl finish on the plates of the movement!!
So at first the rep came out with two versions: Asian with the pearl finish and the ETA 2824 without.
Then the last months came out with the sw-200 movement (like the gen).
From what I was reading all these months, the sw200 for the rep came out at first without
the pearls and then, the latest pieces with the right finish!
Maybe I'm wrong...

does it matter? Is it like the gen, then it's ok right?
Yes, but the difference in the price is something you cannot pass by, and I've already paid for the expensive.
So this is what I expect!!

On the genuine movement there is a pearl pattern finish on the plates.
The same finish I have seen in the Asian clone ETA version.
So my question is this:Except the Asian version is there another version with the same pattern finish as the genuine.
Because my dealer says that the new SW-200 version has the pearl pattern finish.
On the pics he send me,is it the SW-200 version or the Asian clone?
Thank you!

I'm gone a start with the very simple things (bracelet adjustment) but I also have some old cheap automatic watches and I want to learn on these before I advance on the good one!
So for start I need a Caseback wrench, screwdrivers, tweezers, a loupe...

Your opinion please!
Does it worth the cost or not?
The bergeon tools is very expensiveor me and I am a little bit amateur in watches world, but I don't want to buy the very cheap tools that I was found cause they are not trustworthy!
So please some help, these were going to be my very first tools!
Thanks
