  11. If the new 42mm UPO is as good as the 45mm one then you have a really nice time piece on the way.. The PAM 288 looks very good and has gotten much appraisal on here, so that should be a safe bet as well. And one of my favourites is the IWC Pilot Chrono (3717), which is pretty accurate apart for a couple of things (like dial lume markers, DDW's, AR..) but that can be modded along the way. As for the others on your list, I leave it up to the experts to chime in on! +1
  12. Great tale and gesture! Kudos to alligoat for keeping the pay-it-forward spirit alive!
  13. Welcome to RWG! There's a lot of threads in here about great out-of-the-box reps. Search around and you will find the inspiration you are looking for. However I would advice you not to stress your collection if you are picky about flaws - you see there are often many versions from different factories of the same watches out there.. And most with its own pros and cons..
  14. There's more trusted and thereby reliable dealers in the dealer section. In there you'll also find their reviews to help you choose the right one for you. Good luck... And welcome to RWG!
  15. Sugoi! Nihongo desu?
  16. God Jul in Swedish.. So God Jul everyone!
  17. 1. It will probably be pretty hard to find a separate date wheel for the 7734. Tried it myself a couple of months ago without any luck - but was fortuned enough to eliminate the problem by finding a very reasonable priced NOS 7734 with the correct date wheel. I think ebay (and a good pinch of luck) will be your best bet. 2. The 7836 with 380 EL's should the correct bracelet setup for this model. However, gen 380's will need a little bit of modding (some careful bending) for a snug fit on the DW 7032 case. Don't know if there are good 380 rep EL's (if any) out there - but I know most dealers can source the 7836 rep bracelet for you. 3. I think the DW crown is pretty decent. But if you are going for gen, the original 7032 crown should be the 24-700. Those can be found but are pretty expensive and require a 24-7000 tube which is extremely hard to find. Another option is going for a 703 crown, which most gen 7032's has been replaced with during service over the years. Hope this helps and good luck building your MC!
  18. Interesting indeed. Hmm, maybe should try one of those out.. Would be perfect for the wristies.. Great find B!
  19. Hahahaha! What a great read! I really hope you'll acquire more junk to fix and share the experience.. Keep'em coming!
  20. Same here! Time to lose my PAM virginity..
  21. Looks great jk! Incredible bang for the bucks.. A touch of vac on this baby and you got yourself a keeper!
  22. I agree. That is a very good looking rep apart from that sloppy "pearl". Hopefully it's just a one off..
