Thanks ubi.. Yep, they seem pretty hard to get hold of.. I'm keeping my eyes open for a pair of 589's as well which should also do the trick on the 7032..
Congrats to a sweet looking piece my friend!
It's been a pleasure having a little PM part in this project of yours.. Can't wait to get her European sister completed!
It hurts me to hear that R. Keeping her in my thoughts and sending all positive energy that I got down your way. Stay strong and be there for everyone affected during this tough period..

Congrats to a beautiful build burnz! This is very good news to me as I have all the parts on its way to me to build one exactly like this.. And now I know it all can be fitted!
Wear it in good health!
No worries my dear friend! Have not had any redness, swelling, pain or fever.. The only symptoms this far has been a thinner wallet and two awesome pieces of metal and acrylic/ plexi in my watch box..
Yes, they do differ quite a bit unfortunately. Saw a detailed comparison on the two movements (in parts) a while ago, can't remember where though..
Edit: thanks LHOOQ, that's the exact comparison I was talking about!
True that! I'm not really a Lip Mach 2000 kinda guy..
I will be using DW's case and new dial (which looks very good IMO), hence the "wish me luck" thingy..
Yep, they seem pretty hard to come across nowadays..
Haha! Funny you mentioned the Monte Carlo build, as that was my reason for looking for it in the first place. However, everything got solved when I found a NOS 7734 with 45 minute counter at a very reasonable price! So all that is left now is receiving all parts and assemble it.. So wish me luck!
