Thanks for all the blood, sweat, tears and now $$ to keep this awesome place alive T!
C'mon fellas - time for us to all do our part aka filling up the void in Admin's Christmas gift savings bucket!
Looks like a standard grade ETA to me - however I do agree that the "jewel holder" looks a bit strange/ unusual. Maybe there has been different ETA versions of it? Because it does not look like the ones on my spare A7750's in my parts box:
Just out of curiosity, what kind of issues were there with your old 3717 (which I assume was the modded v1 you bought from me)? My experience was that it had one of the smooth running movements I have ever had. More accurate than my current gen ETA 7750's - either brand new or freshly serviced. But I guess a lot of things can happen with automatic movements over time..
Looks like you had a great time chaps!
GTG's are so much fun.. Here in the EU they tend to spiral out of control.. In a good way.. All the laughing keeps the [somewhat shy] six pack in good shape..
Most probably yes! R might be foul mouthed and seem absolutely crazy sometimes - but deep down inside there's an extremely kind bloke.. And did I mention sheer genious?!
It's a pleasure having you around Sulan! Keep 'em coming!
I would suggest you get a set of TC hands. They are the best aftermarket option out there IMHO. You will find his contact info in the TD section under "TC Submariner".
Hmm. Must be because of me not being Platinum anymore (got too many PM sessions going on for a standard account I guess).. Still waiting for the payment issue to be solved so that I can upgrade and get things back to normal..
Anyhow, I have replied to your email my friend
Man, I am so jealous of you right now D! If you happen to pass through Paia, please take some pics of the main road/ crossing for me. Would love to see how it has turned out since my last visit 15 years ago!
BTW, the Tudor was a great choice..
