  1. Hi! I have e-mailed with both Andrew and Joshua, and they are both unable to get longer leather straps. Do you know a site which sells these straps or even custom makes them?
  2. Ok, this was interesting! Andrew has the same flaw. The one i have found without this flaw is Mary. Check out this link: http://www.watch-international.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=21_29&products_id=725 And her version is USD 260 cheaper! Does any of you know if this is an ok replica? I am worried about the movement though. Automatic, doesnt that translate to battery driven? That's a truly dead giveaway...
  3. Ok, so my face is now officially full of eggs... The correct link is this one: http://www.1-pc8838.com/rlst00088-2009-submariner-asia-3135-serial-p-8040.html The good thing is that i'm a master chef, so i can always use the eggs to make an omelet... Thanks for the info
  4. Hi! I have a friend who is looking to buy a Rolex Submariner TT Black & Gold. I have found this one at Joshua's place: http://www.1-pc8838.com/rlgt00088-anni-black-asia-3186-serials-p-8039.html I am wondering if you have any comments on it. I do have a few questions: 1. What does clone movement mean? 2. What does the fourth (green) hand indicate? 3. What boxset goes best with this model? Thank you! With Regards, Broker
  5. Hey everybody! Well the summer season has now officially passed, and although it wasn't the best, it's been decent. Decent enough for me to deserve a new watch. I have two watches right now, both gotten from Joshua. These are: 1. Breitling for Bentley Flying B Chronograph 2. Rolex Daytona, Red Gold, working Chronograph I have included a really bad picture of the Rolex so you can see the relationship in size. I managed to crack the glass of the Breitling, so i had to start wearing the Rolex daily. I have gotten many compliments on it, and even though i originally bought it to use as an accessory at a pimp & hoe party it has really grown on me and i like the feel of it. I do have some seriously big wrists (9.5" around"), and watches with rubber or leather straps are usually too small. I am interested in your recommendations and personal favorites. Any and all are welcome. If any vendors have recommendations then please keep in mind the wrist size and that i need to have the bracelet extended. Please include any extra cost in your pricing. Offers of sale should be sent by PM. I do have one final question, and that is if anybody knows somebody who sells Rado. I have been through several trusted sites, but i am unable to find any Rado vendors. With Regards, The Master Chef PS: The best suggestions will be rewarded with the recipe to my famous dark and white chocolate mousse with marinated cherries. (see attached picture)
  6. Hey Everybody! Can you please tell me wether it is possible to change the glass in this watch? It fell from my tea-table onto the marble tiles, and landed glass first. The rest of the watch is ok, and i do love the watch. I wonder if i can change the glass somehow. I would also like to ask wether this is normal for saphire glass. My tea-table is about 40 cm tall (1ft 4 inches) and i did think that it would withstand a fall like that. Any and all answers would be highly appreciated. I live in Norway, and i'm having no problems recieving watches from amongst others Joshua.
  7. I have checked this one out, and i have to say that i am loving it! It's a really cool watch, and it's not common i Norway. As for the Seiko i showed it to him, and he didnt like it. It was too geeky according to him, and he's the on who'll be wearing it
  8. Hi! My nephnew has his confirmation comming up, and i was wondering if you knew of any cool tough rep watches that would suit a boy his age. I should mention that he likes the watches i have bought, and that i knows that they are reps. He wants one for himself, but he wants to be surprised. He's phyiscally active and a decent skateboarder. I have been thinking of the AP BumbleBee Limited Edition All tips are welcome Thank you!
  9. Thank you very much for the tips. The thing that puzzeled me was that it was quite quiet to begin with. Also can you give me an indication as to what a mod like you suggested would cost? Thank you!
  10. Hi! I purchased a Breitling for Bentley Flying B Chronomat from Josh a few weeks ago, and i'm really happy with it. However the movement has started to make noise when i wind it up by shaking my arm. It did not use to do so, and it sounds like it's grinding almost. Is there anything that can be done about that? It is an Asia 7750 Valjoux movement. Any advice would be appreciated! with regards, Broker.
  11. That's really odd because the Bentley models are popular and the Flying B was made using a genuine as model. They would have had the boxset available too. Strange that they dontreplicate the box, has to be easier than replicating the watch...
  12. I honestly have no idea. I think i'll just ask Josh to send me an extra screw on the next order i put in
  13. Hi! Any good ideas on where to buy a boxset for a Breitling for Bentley Flying B Chronograph? All suggestions appreciated.
  14. @deniz21 That's the odd thing. It doesnt work. I have taken both bracelets apart, and i'm left with two screws that are too big, and one missing in the main bracelet. I had to use all the links in the extra bracelet to get the watch around my wrist.
  15. Hey! I've extended the bracelet on my Breitling Flying B Chronograph. The damndest thing though: I am missing one screw on the side, but i have two that are too big to fit. It just doesn't compute! Anybnody got any tips?
  16. I'm not quite sure where you are from, but experience has taught me that a .22 has sufficient stopping power. It turns out that the criminals in norway arent used to being shot. and you know... The clip holds more bullets. As for the domestic thing. I gotta tell you. .22s are owned by MANY idiots. Especially in the US. In Norway you have to be a member of a club to get a license to own a gun. You might find this to be too much red tape, but it insures that the purchaser has a good knowledge of weapons and weapon treatment. Giving guns to idiots who have no basic training is ludacris. There is about 4.7 million people in Norway. We had a total of 29 homicides in 2009, 8 of these were comitted with firearms. This translates to 0.17 homicides by fireams pr 100 000 citizens. By comparison the number for the US is 4.3 pr 100 000! That's 25 times the rate of firearm-related homicides in Norway! All accidental deaths by firearms and all non-fatal injuries comes in addition to these numbers. I wouldnt be surprised if this makes being shot a pretty common thing in the US,but here in Norway it's still pretty rare. It also turns out that even hardened criminals tend to think twice once they get a bullet in the knee with the option of getting more. As for shooting people in the eye socket. We have a clearence rate of about 99.2 % in homicides in Norway, so i'm really not looking to kill anybody. Dont want to be spending years in prison. However i have to say I do get a somewhat funny picture of the idiots who kill themselves in domestic accidents with .22s. Looking into the barrel going: "Is this where dems there bullets be commin out?"
  17. Well i had to wait til the 30th of Jan to get the package. It took 5 days. Crazy but now it's here. I'll post a viewing later
  18. Hey! Well, mail service is a fantastic thing... It takes 2 working days for a package to go from China to Norway, and 5 days for it to go from Oslo to Bergen (500 km between the two biggest cities in Norway)... Also it seems that packages go a lot faster than letters. I am expecting one letter and a package. The package will be here tomorrow, but the letter hasnt arrived in norway yet. At least i had no problems clearing customs
  19. This kit from Offshore looks really good, and i'll place an order as soon as i have a pay-pal account. What i am really wondering though is: Wether or not the kit i posted a picture of is good enough to extend the bracelet? I have bought a bottle of Loctite 243 Screwfastener medium. It's the kind that sticks, but it's still possible to take the screws back out.
  20. I live in Norway, and yes if you go by official channels it's a lot of red tape and high prices, but then again so is purchasing a gen Rolex. After a "squabble" with some yugosalves that had strong feelings about us paying them extra rent, there was a clear need to get armed. It took the whole of 45 minutes to get hold of two .22 cal semi-automatic with 100 live rounds. I've never understood those people who get hold of big guns likke .45. I got my gun because there was a clear danger of an armed conflict between me and these criminals. I don't want a gun that i'll be hesitant to fire in danger of killing somebody. I'd post a picture, but there might be legal implications...
  21. Hi I bought an extra bracelet with the watch, so i should have enough spares. as for the tools you mention is it something along the line of this: http://www.clasohlson.no/Product/LargeImageViewer.aspx?Path=/Archive/Images/Products/Hi/309109_X_2006-06-30_073246_962.jpg Thank you!
  22. I never really measured them before, but my overarms are 21" when i tense the muscles. As you may know i originally wanted to buy these watches from Andrew, but his billing service was not working, so i placed the order with Joshua instead. I also purchased an extra bracelet for each watch as per agreement with Joshua, so i should have enough links... I hope i can buy the tools locally. Is this something along the lines of what i need? http://www.clasohlson.no/Product/LargeImageViewer.aspx?Path=/Archive/Images/Products/Hi/309109_X_2006-06-30_073246_962.jpg
  23. Hey! I have bought a Rolex Daytona Everrose (It's my most expensive accessorie for the Pimp'n'Ho party of the year) When i get it i will need to extend the bracelet to fit my 9.5" wrists. I have two questions: 1. What tools do i need to do this? 2. Is it difficult in such a way that i might damage the watch? I have made a very similar posting in the Breitling area. This is not a double posting, but i have bought a Breitling as well and as far as i know the procedures might differ. Therefore it is best to ask. Thank you. Broker
