  1. My 9411 project turned in to a 9401 project instead, I can't get used to the date "bubble" unfortunately. Got the dial last week and actually managed to strip the movement from a donor watch and assemble the dial and hands (second time I ever do this). Now I have everything except the bezel assembly! Oh and adjusting the stem... The case is stamped 9411 on the inside of the caseback and the movement is a 2783 so if I ever change my mind I could just change the dial. Good luck with your project Catalin!
  2. I have the same project going and so far have a case, crystal, movement (2783), silver date wheel, hands, crown, tube, o-ring and springbars. What I am missing is a bezel assembly and dial (going for nato strap). I'm probably going to order a dial from Yuki soon and the bezel from Watchmaterial. A gen dial went on eBay yesterday for $200 which I just missed. I got the crown and date wheel off eBay (can look up the seller if you want). I think the 7mm triplock screwdown with Rolex logo is the correct for the 9411. The 2784 movement is tricky to find at a reasonable price, there are one or two other ETA 28,800 bph movements that might work if you really want the hi-beat. I've spent about $300 so far (got a great deal on the case) so $1000 should be doable, but then again I don't have the correct movement.
  3. I've got the same model incoming from DSN but I agree that the dial is just to "fresh", I'd really like to make it more vintage and add a proper humidity indicator. However I lack skills to pull of a thing like that...
  4. Make that a triple intro, I'm also new here and from Sweden. Unfortunately our currency has taken a beating against the euro and dollar which has made watches about 25% more expensive over night...
