Spinmaster is going to hook me up with a crown and tube. Now all I need is someone to put it on here in the US. Anyone have a good watch guy here in the states that would be willing to do this???
thanks

I just purchased an Explorer II from eurtotimez and am eagerly awaiting it's arrival. It will be my second Rep, I also purchase a tt sub from josh and love it (pictures to follow).
In reading the review by By-Tor really the only thing that needs to be changed is the crown(which will then require a new tube). Now for my questions
1) What is the best place to source a gen crown and tube? By-Tor suggested "justasgood", but I haven't got a response to my PM and I don't want to bug him.
2) Could someone supply me with the part numbers of the parts I am looking for, or at least how one would go about looking those numbers up??? I have been looking at crowns on ebay but really have no idea what I am looking at.
Thanks for all the help!

Just found this on ebay, said it fits the gmt so I was wondering if this one would work???

I also have one more quick question. Do you happen to know the model number of the crown and tube I am looking for? I tried searching everywhere for a rolex part list and couldn't find one. That would definitely make the search easier if I knew exactly what part numbers I am looking for!
Thanks

Well let me first congratulate you for making your homework properly and buying the right version. I actually wear my black ExpII more than my white these days. It's very nice watch in every way, and a definite "keeper" for me.
Regarding the crown... I'm not sure if member "Justasgood" is willing to provide the crowns to everyone, but you might send him a polite pm and ask. The correct crown for this model is the 6mm twinlock. Same parts for 16710 and 16570. You probably need the tube as well... and of course someone who can do the job for you.
I think changing the crown is worth it as the "Noobfactory" twinlock crown is grossly oversized.
Good luck!
I haven't got a reply from justasgood yet, but will this work?

I just took your advice and ordered the black version through eurotimez (well actually i ordered the white model but in doing a little more research I changed to the black). My only question is where would be the best place for me to find a good crown, and what exactly do i need??? Thanks for the great review and help!
