I have a black one and totally agree with alanytical I kind of like the look of the white more. It really does hide the crappy loom better and it looks cleaner. But it also depends on where you live. in the US, the white Super avenger is what you see on alot of the "G's"... Just kidding...it is all in your own preference!

Ya know, I really like the SA with the pro II bracelet as well, but I'm sure you know what it feels like when you get a new watch and just want to keep trying it with different things...I think I've gone through 5 different straps to see if there is any one that I like the most. So far I like the feel of this one but kind of miss the extra weight of the bracelet! -Ricardo

Wow okay so get this: I went to Hawaii a couple years ago for spring break, and I had it stuck in my head that I was going to get a traditional Hawaiian tattoo (you know tapping and all ). When I got there I went straight to a tattoo parlor, and when I walked in there were about 7 HUGE Hawaiian people there. They were friendly enough, and asked to see my tattoo's. Then they asked how they could help me and I said I wanted to get a tattoo. They showed me their books and I said "no I want something more traditional hawaiian, I want to get some tapping." I am not exagerating when I say that all 7 of these huge guys stood up and started walking towards me. They kicked me out, because I asked for a traditional tattoo... Maybe it was because it is sacred to them, or maybe because I wasn't Hawaiian, but still it was the scariest moment of my life... Kind of funny now that I look back on it! -Ricardo

Yeah I do but first I need to finish this arm. I have only one more session (which is just blending the greys and blues into the reds and yellows). I really want to do something on my other arm. I was thinking of doing some Mayan or Aztec theme, but I guess we'll see! -Ricardo

So I got a comment the other day on my new super avenger (rep) and the comment was to the effect of "wow that's a nice watch! Oh but you also have a tattoo covring you arm!" Totally not that general, but the comment was to that effect. That in turn got me thinking... How many of you have tattoos on your arms (like me) and what do people notice more, your tattoos or your beautiful watch? Also post an pics you have of the artwork on your canvas of a body! Stories are welcome too! -Ricardo

HA! I laughed when I read this... Thanks for the input guys! I fixed the datewheel problem by doing what alanytical said. Micro adjusting the date and all...perfect now! I guess I will have to get a gen dial for it! I really want one but unless they are like around 100 bucks I don't think I can afford it! Thanks again folks! -Ricardo PS Thanks again Dave! Doesn't anyone mod their Super Avenger?

Hey so I love my new super avenger, but I've noticed a couple of things that are bugging me. The first and foremost thing is the bezel! I hate that the screws aren't actually screws! They are just glued in. So what I am wondering about is if I replace it with a gen on like this from the bay, will the screws actually work then? I know that on a Gen, they are used to open the case (validity?) so will the rep case even be compatible with the insert? Another thing is the datewheel! Wow this is what bugs me the most about reps! It is the "Ultimate" version and so I though this kind of thing would be fixed, and yet it still isn't centered. Is this an easy fix, or will I need to replace the date wheel too? Other than these little problems, this is a wonderful rep. I have become a freakin' perfectionist because of this hobby, and I would just like to say that I really like being a perfectionist! PLEASE DAVE IF YOU READ THIS, I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR IMPUT! more pics!
