My sub from andrew has had some water on it without any problems. Never went swimming with it though - but considering that it took me like an hour to get that damn caseback open with a caseback opener... then I'd say it's mine is/waspretty waterproof /Award

I've used WU to transfer money to paul as well... things went rather smoothly (except for me misspelling on the form, so pual couldn't extract the money)...the fee is rather expensive when you are ordering 4 watches though... /Award

Sound really great. Unfortunately there aren't many watchmakers to come across in the northern parts of europe, or so it seems. The ones I've talked to didn't mind reps... but they minded the hours it took for the to assemble some crappy movement :s Anyways congrats with the watchmaker! /Award

I wouldn't advise you to use any of the internet sites available... most of it are utterly crap, and he fact that they don't use their own pictures are a problem as well. Stick to the dealers here or at TRC who have these items. None of it are perfect, but at least they are honest about it(unlike most internet sites), and will show you real pictures of the goods. That way you know what you are buying, and you wont be disappointed when you pay 100$ for a bag and you were hoping it would be just as good as the real one /Award

Couldn't help wondering why you guys even spend money on reps when you can have that kind of cash laying around at home In the pile with the Euro bills there was a small fortune... or at least what one can earn in a month or so with a regular job in Denmark

Whether they are overprized or not depends on what you seek. If you are looking for a watch which shows the time, and that's all. Then your best watch would probably cost around $10 in your local store. But when it comes down to design, and the quality of showing off a "power" object such as an expensive watch. Then yes, the prices are just as they should be

Went there a few days last week due to a huge conference I was attending... a really great town. @ cornerstone I really like the classic design... which of course is hard to define, but there's one thing I keep wondering about. What's up with the Panerai fever? I have a hard time seeing the great thing about these watches. Imo there's a lot more beauty in a VC or Patek than in a Panerai. Maybe it's because I don't have one myself - gonna have to get one in my next order Award

I've looked around in here for a little while... not being active though, but I've decided to start my collection! These days most sunglasses, reps or not, protect the eyes just as good as gen ones. I have some DKNY and D&G gens and a few reps (rayban etc.) and I don't see any huge differences. Award
