I took a quick look at mine, and I'm not sure how it is attached. Being a rep bracelet, it could simply be soldered. On the bright side, I haven't see a lot of this online. -B

It is broken. The tube that contains the springbar, which is attached to the clasp at left, in between the through-holes, should still be attached to the locking mechanism, at left. I haven't looked at the assembly closely enough to say for sure how they ought to be attached, but they should be attached nonetheless. -Bill
