Ive heard that they have some very strict laws on wearing Reps in Italy. Anyone from Italy that can confirm this?

Has anyone else had this problem? Woke up this morning and checked my

messages and noticed I only had 1 inbox? Most I could do without but there

were a few keepers. Anyone know if they can be retrieved?

I'm gonna echo Nanuq and others in this thread... I sold my last rep about 5 months ago and I'm now 100% gen... am I happier? It's one less variable to ponder but as other's have said (M above said it beautifully) you're still going to look for that "perfect" watch...rep or gen

The guys at the AD's here in NY are underpaid people who know very very very little about watches.

The guys at tourneau here could not spot a fake if it hit them in the face.

People on RWG treat the AD like they are gods. 4 out of 5 times they have NO idea what they are talking about. That 5th time you are in trouble though....

Seriously...I deeply doubt that an IWC AD would not spot a IWC rep in SWITZERLAND. And finding out being a rep being happy about it. He must have been fairly new at the job or seriously retarded. On top of that they did the job for free knowing it was a rep I find very hard to believe. Actually the whole story is like a fairy tale.

I know it can be hard but try not to go ballistic with your wallet with a rep purchase of that amount. Figure out all the flaws and features of the different versions and make a educated purchase.

I believe the low beat has the right engravings on the rotor and the high beat doesn't. Thats my 2 cents on the watch.
