  1. Dry. With a rusted Fusion Power (no battery) that's been on too many field exercises. And no, I'm not kidding. Perhaps I should look into some of these products you guys are using so my face doesn't feel like it just burst into flame after shaving.

  2. I am not a runner either...I mean as a kid I played tennis and sports like that...but never did track or jogged. Now that I am training for a triathlon, you need to be good at pretty much everything. I bought a new pair of shoes at a running store where they put you on the treadmill and examine your ankles to determine how you pronate. They will tell you what type of shoes you need to put your foot in the correct alignment. THIS is what will get rid of your shin splints...having the proper pair of running-only shoes. So don't give up on the running. Also, I bought the Nike+ system that you can use to log your runs and determine your pace. The stats show that if you can complete 5 runs, you will continue to run. It works with your iPod and automatically uploads runs to nikeplus.com where you can see your progress.

    Good Luck,

    Brent

+1 on the shoe advice. Runner's World has this system; they not only recommend shoes, but can/will make you a set of custom insoles to put into your shoes to help with if you pronate/underpronate.

I am not a biker. I have my reasons for this, one of which is those retarded outfits that they wear. I am not Lance Armstrong. What I prefer to do, which helps out my run times substantially as well as give my lungs a run for their money are two types of drills:

    Run-Swim-Runs

    Hill Drill.

RSRs are just that...you run for a few miles, swim 500-2000M, then run back. They'll kick your ass, but that's one cardio workout I swear by.

Hill Drill is a bit different...mine requires a partner to fireman's carry up for part of the drill, but essentially it's sprinting up an extremely steep hill, walking/running back down, and repeating the process. Depending on the hill it can be quite hard.

  3. I've taken most of the Nitric supplements, except for NOXplode. That's the only one.

However, I've taken NaNOX9, Nano Vapor, as well as Black Powder... and in that order, you'll find it from weakest to strongest: NOXplode, NaNOX9, Nano Vapor, Black Powder (my favorite!). It dialates your blood vessels to enhance blood flow to the muscles that you're working. It's good to stack this with multivitamins and/or creatine, but in no way shape or form should you use any type of fat burner supplement with this. For that matter, straight out AVOID stimulants, as that will lead to a bad/unnatural heart rate which could cause several other problems (1 can of Monster + Black Powder = possible cardiac arrest).

You can get some GREAT pumps out of this...but you have to use it in a cyclic rate, i.e.: stacking for a certain amount of time (weeks) and resting (week, end of cycle). This isn't something where if you're just starting lifting you go ahead and pick up and use, it's something for when you plateau. Don't use this for aerobic exercise, you'll only get sick/nauseous (running, swimming, football, etc).

I noticed a significant increase in muscle endurance and strength using nitric supplements than I did without, and that'll happen way more frequently if you don't start out lifting naturally (no supplements, just a good diet, protein shakes and a multivitamin). I'd say after a month or two of lifting naturally, go ahead and start stacking; but don't go straight for all these "high end" supplements. Keep it simple, keep it hard. The harder, the better gains you get (provided you don't overtrain or injure yourself).

  4. Knowing how Hublot had introduced the foudroyante into it's watches/movement shouldn't be that hard; it's simply a gear that's off the mainspring.

Now if the factories figure it out, that's beyond me. Having a seconds at 9 a7750 is way easier of a task than trying to figure out the King Power's foudroyante movement...but for the price, they should at least give it a shot.

The HBB KP All Black is growing on me...
