That's awesome and so very very true!!! I am still amazed by how the gen forums run for the most part. They are so over inflated and full of them selves (at least a large majority are) that I have no interest at all in browsing them. The posting that was put up last week by By-Tor about the Noob sub on the Rolex Forum was a real eye opener for me. Pretty unbelievable! I tend to agree with Southcoast. If you decide it's not for you, then sell it for what you paid for it. Otherwise don't even offer it up to your forum friends. There are other places to do that (ie: eBay)

Help Needed!!! Got my watch case back from the Jeweler last night and it looks great. So I am all excited to start putting it back together. One minor hiccup. I cannot figure out how to install the crystal! It's a two piece system. There is a flat crystal, with no lip or real edge. It's just a rounded edge around the perimeter of the crystal. The second part looks like a silicone or white plastic gasket. It fits into the watch case with some effort and then I cannot seem to figure out how to push down on the crystal to snap it into place. I do have a crystal press, but I am not sure if I am doing it right? Experts! Please please help! Here's a pic of the case and crystal. The crystal is on the left of the picture and the gasket is on the right. Here's a few pics of the case:

I don't have one, but I want one. Test drove both the 3.8 and the 4.6 and I have to say the V8 4.6 was a monster! Very smooth & quick acceleration. Amazing braking power for such a big car too. And the sound system is un-real!! It's the same Lexicon based system used in the Rolls Royce Phantom with HD Radio, Sat Radio, USB & iPod connectivity. Very very impressive sound for sure! Amazing car for the money and definitely puts the BMW iDrive system to shame. The central controller is far more intuitive than BMW's IMO. As for Inception, I thought it was an amazing movie. I definitely need to go see it again soon.

There was rumors floating about on RG about some new 112 and 111 sandwich dials in the works, but I still haven't seen them yet. I'm kind of holding out for those. I really like my 112h but the sandwich dial has some flaws. They basically copied the sausage dial font for the sandwich dials I would also really love to get a better case back that isn't the typical H0035/2000 serial number. The FGD dials on the 201 etc models have been looking pretty amazing. Combine that with the FGD hands and its a pretty sweet combo. The PVD/DLC base models are starting to call to me as well

Agreed. The bezel looks off to me as well. The 12 at the 6 o'clock position is not centered on the endlink and that is also throwing off the whole thing. Does the bezel have a 24 click lock or is it free to move around?

Love it! Can we see more pics of the crown? There were a few where the cabochon ruby at the end of the crown looked off.

Wow it's amazing what a 0.3mm difference makes in the pivots when you zoom in that much. Thanks for the explanation!

First pass with the re-plate didn't pass my inspection, I hate to say. There was a large blemish on the bezel. I am quite surprised they missed it. Didn't take a loupe to see it at all. However, they were nice enough to take it back for a second attempt - free of charge Wasn't that nice?
