  1. Sorry if this seems like a dumb question, but I've been searching McMaster-Carr, MSC, Grainger, Ofrei and others for this tap and I just can't find it. Is the posting correct? 3.0mm x 0.35 tap? I searched for that as well as an M3 x 0.35 Tap. Each search came back with a 3.0 x 0.5 Tap or M3 x 0.5 Tap. Am I missing something here?
  2. Another "well within reach" dream car - the Mercedes Benz E55 AMG W211. I almost pulled the trigger on a 2005 a year and a half ago, but with the soaring gas prices I shied away from the deal. It's still on my radar though Super comfortable ride, sporty handling, dynamic seating that adjusts as you increase the g-forces on the car, and a 470hp / 520 ft/lb supercharged engine. Oh, and room for 5!
  3. Hey thanks! Nope - furthest from a gen you can get. This started life as a very, very cheap rep!
  4. Quick question - are these the correct size as well? The gen 2010 model I believe is 39mm
  5. Hey thanks for this great review! I couldn't tell from a lot of the dealer pics that the new 2010 model actually had the proper polished 3 - 6 - 9 layout. The pics all looked like they still had the older lumed numerals. Watch looks fantastic and that is a great buy!!! I definitely want one of the 2836 high beat ones for sure!
  6. As promised, here are some pics of the Gen Tropic 127 modification to fit my Asian case. Custom Made Aluminum lathe attachement to hold the crystal true and in place while the inner diameter is increased: Milling the Crystal:
  7. Nice ride Cats! I just finished my lease on an S60 R in midnight black. That was a sick car! The only issue I had with it.....worse turning radius of any car I have ever owned!! Here's a pic from the first road trip I took the car on:
  8. Just found this on the Bay. It's a leatherette strap holder for up to 20 watch straps. Seems pretty cool and only $20.00 US. Thought I'd share it! Can be found here
  9. Super awesome K! How about some more pics of that beauty? P.S. Is that your TYMC Timer? How do you like it?
  10. @ Freddy - who did the lume on your 6542 dials?
  11. Wow!!! That spider dial is just gorgeous! How on earth did you do that and make it look so great???
  12. Amazing comparison LHOOQ! And the re-dial you have is incredibly close!!! That was a great find there!
  13. Beautiful PAM Hike! Looking good! Wearing my 112h today with my Frogman PAV 9911 Strap. Such a great combo!!!
  14. Yes but it generally never worked out very well
  15. Oh man...you could be a hazard to my savings account! Thanks A! I look forward to hearing some good news in the next few days!
  16. Hey thanks Andy. Anyone buy from TWB? The Watchboys? Their IWC 18mm Alligator Strap looks pretty decent!
  17. So it's an SS model? Black dial and stick markers? Or is it the Roman Numerals? Thanks for checking into that for me A! Appreciate it!
  18. Looks awesome Cats! If you don't mind my asking, what are the part numbers for the Tube & Crown?
  19. Are you serious? How much are the wanting for it? I am not in T.O. and won't be for a while but if the price is right, it might be worth a quick trip!
  20. No need to shake it....just swirl it upright in your hand like you are swirling a nice brandy in a brandy snifter. Should start right up
  21. Well it does say "worldtimer" on the dial! Very cool piece Dano!!!
  22. Wow! If you don't mind me asking, where did you source the OEM parts? Looking forward to seeing the differences!
  23. Hey Flex - with the crystal removed the dial and date window don't look that different from other dials I have worked with. I tried holding the 127 crystal over top of the dial when it was un-cased and it looks much better IMO.
  24. Wow....this should be fun to watch! Nice find
