Wow Powershot! That Eiffel Tower shot your brother took is stellar!!! Your's are looking really great too! I really like the front end green motorcycle shot! Great colors!
No need to feel that way my friend. I'm just glad you are ok. I was getting worried when I hadn't heard from you At the end of the day it's just a watch. I'm just glad you got out of there alive (although, as Sixx pointed out, you are a true RWG'er for braving the flames to save the watchbox! )
Agreed....It's a beautiful looking watch. I really like the attention to detail on the subdials and the finish, but that date window makes it look so cheap
Hey S....go ahead and keep the watch man. No worries. If you sell it then add that money to the Halo Archive "Rebuild-your-life" fund. Consider it my little contribution to help you and your family out in some small way
I think you are referring to the McQueen Explorer II Jkay. I just scoured through the Rolex & Review forums to find a review on the Explorer 1 and couldn't find any. I too am interested in seeing a review on the much simpler looking Exp I 39mm model.
I was looking at some of the pictures on Josh's site, but they look like the older version with the arabic number in silver outline with lume filling. The new one looks to have solid silvery metal arabic numbers without lume?
Ok...this has already been said, but..... 68 WEEKS???? Really?? You would think with a brand name like Patek that it would be like a Rolls Royce with lifetime service. That is unbelievable! Imagine if that watch was only a couple of weeks or months old?
+1 on the Blackbird. That's a real looker. Personally, I would love either a Navi Fighters, or if they ever repped this: A Breitling Navitimer Spatiographe
As a side note - yet another reason I really HATE Flash websites - The Breitling Site is so annoying to load! It looks nice, but not well implemented at all.
Oh my God S! Glad you are ok man! That really really sucks! No worries on the watch, I was just more concerned that I hadn't heard from you in a long long time and I was starting to wonder if something had happened to you.
Thanks for updating us all on your situation.
Funny you should mention the Jag. I have an opportunity to buy a 1999 Jaguar Vanden Plas with only 41,500 miles on it. It was nearly always in a garage. Belonged to an older woman who drove it to the store and back. Her husband has a 2000 XJ8 and he's a Jag Mechanic. It's available for a really really good price. Almost too good to pass up.
Anyone have any thoughts on if I should buy it or not? I have heard that Jag's can be a pain mechanically. Of course, that could just be a few bad incidents causing a bad rap for the poor car.
No mods on the Vette (yet) Stock 6.0L LS2 engine, Paddle Shifters, Adjustable Suspension and various driving modes. In other words - its a whole lot of fun!
Haha! I did some serious damage to an Audi Quattro coupe in 94 in a car rally in Canada. It was a lot of fun, but ripped the oil pan right out from under the car oops
Agreed. The exterior design & the interior design both downgrades to me. I really like the 2003 - 2009 E series frames a lot more. Definitely befits the Benz style to me. The new ones are too much like the C class cars - which in my opinion are way too cheap to be considered a Benz
