  1. Paypal has routinely contacted me because I use their debit card frequently. They just randomly call to verify that I am who I am supposed to be. I have never had a problem with it. They have never asked me specifically what I bought, they just wanted to know how much I spent for the last few transactions. I have to say, they also have great phone support. Super fast to answer the phone - nearly no hold time.
  2. Good lord! Was that watch attached to someones arm in a car accident or something??
  3. Congrats on the purchase, and happy birthday to you!
  4. And here I thought it was just me, but it's true....every time I scroll through postings that have Corgi's animated gif, my computer freezes for a little bit. Then it scrolls down finally, and of course, I see your posting with your insanely animated gif! Don't get me wrong, it's really cool, but it's frustrating when every time it pops up I have to wait a while for it to load.
  5. Here's about 95 or so pictures that I use each year to make my own Christmas/Holiday cards. Please feel free to download them and use them! Holiday Card Pictures

  9. Sweet Breit R! Going with the SwissFish for Friday:
  10. My moon watch today: My vintage RED sub tonight:
  11. Sorry GM, but I need to take issue with the way you worded that phrase. I think it is just ridiculous to state that Lani has "muscled" any reputation here. Lani gives more dedication and time to this fora than most and I for one truly appreciate his reviews and insights on watch collecting. I have asked him on several occasions to tell us more about one of his watches, or show some macros and he has done it on every occasion. In fact, his review on the Swiss vs Asian SuperOcean SteelFish was what made me decide to buy one of my favorite watches. He didn't muscle anything IMO. He's just an all round nice guy. Just my 0.02
  12. I'm afraid mine is pretty boring, but I like a minimal, clean desktop
  13. Well at least the seller made his/her point very clear!
  14. Wow! That's crazy! You're like a long lost twin or something!! Or did you just photoshop my arm with your watch on??
  15. Awesome news! Just tried out the search engine and it works like the old one now. I don't have to type the exact name of the thread I am looking for. Any chance we will get back the ability to mark favorites again like the old version?
  16. Which browser are you using and on what type of computer?
  17. Love this watch B! Take some more pics of it please!!!
  18. Vacheron Constantin Overseas for today. It is such a nice, slim watch to wear under a shirt cuff:
  19. Here's a great site all about the Ploprof Link
  20. Again, I am so pleased that my simple posting about the IWC regualteur prompted this build! It's just awesome Andy! Well done!
  21. The big one was probably the Seamaster Ploprof. Did it look like this:
