I am not sure if it is gen or not, but it definitely didn't come with the reps stock. Bought it this way, so I would have to defer to the experts on this one.
Also no gold for me. I have one gold watch that I got when my grandfather passed away many years ago, but it's just not me so I keep it for sentimental value only. White Gold, SS, or Titanium and that's it for me.
I love the sword hands. That is what drew me to the Vintage Seamaster!
@TMG - haven't seen your 5517 since its first review? That one is beautiful as well! Congrats to you both on some amazing builds!
I have a co-worker who has a gen Rolex 16600 SeaDweller from 1996 and he was commenting today that he wishes the lume still worked. First of all, is that normal for a watch of that age to lose its lume after 13 years? Secondly, should he send it to an RSC for a re-lume (if they even do that), or should he send it to the master in canada?
Opinions would be greatly appreciated!
Item 67 - A Rolex 1780? 43mm instead of the 1680's 42mm? I have never even heard of that one!
@omegaunit - can you imagine the fun you could have with a time machine and vintage, highly collectable watches?
Lots of interesting Tudor information here:
