  1. The anticipation when one is waiting for that next great rep to arrive is all part of the fun of the hobby in my mind (of course, it still drives me mad!)
  2. Agreed Freddy! Some great looking watches today and even better photos! Wearing my SOXA for Thursday:
  3. Looking good! I like the lume job on that one!
  4. A couple of notes. Looks like the "Quote" function (which I guess is what has replaced "Reply") isn't grabbing everything from the post that I am trying to quote. Also, if the thread has multiple pages, there is only a prev/next page function at the top of the thread, not the bottom. I am using Mac OS X 10.6.7 with Safari 5.05
  5. Wow you are a very brave man, grinding down that dial! Well the end result obviously speaks for itself! Nicely done!! It looks great!
  6. I absolutely love the Cali dial! I just fear that a 47mm watch is just a tad bit too big for me. The Rolex Datejust Cali dial could be cool Click Me
  7. Yet another fantastic example of how amazing this community is! Congratulations wolf! Looks great!
  8. Nice find! That is a great looking watch and I am sure your friend will love it!
  9. I guess it's safe to say that the slide rule lines up then That is a real beauty! Congratulations!!
  10. Ohhhhhh....... now that is very, very tasty!!!!! I would definitely like to hear more about that beauty please SOXA Friday:
  11. You mean I actually have to work on Tuesday? I can't spend countless hours browsing around?
  12. Can't say about the 45min part, but that definitely looks like a 7734 to me. Assuming it has a date wheel? Other wise, it would be a 7733
  13. +1 - the whole kit is invaluable and a good value
  14. Another large watch for the wristie today: Stølås Harbormaster Spinnaker
  15. The gen dial has some slight imperfections on it - that being one of them. Not sure how that happened, but I like it As for hands, I have gen hands on mine. Doesn't get more correct than that. Not sure who sells the best looking after market hands, but there are a lot of "Incorrect" hands out there.
  16. Dear god in heaven!!!! That is simply gorgeous R!!! Congratulations on such a fine build!
  17. Fair enough Thanks for the offer!!! I appreciate it!
  18. @alterego... please don't include all the pics in your quoted reply. Just takes up way too much space and is completely unnecessary.
  19. Man that beads of rice bracelet looks so comfortable! Nice pick up there and in such great condition!
  20. 4 in total, and technically I only need the end caps of the pins. I believe the pins I have are ok, just the end caps inner diameter got enlarged.
  21. Hope someone here can help me out with this..... I bought a J12 for my wife. It had all of the links attached. I proceed with the link removal. Each time I pushed the link removal tool through, it popped out the pin just fine, but when I back it out again, there was a small piece attached to the pin of the removal tool. I managed to pull it off just fine, but when I went to replace that pin cap (or what ever that small piece is called), i noticed to my dismay that my pin removal tool enlarged the holes of the end piece so now they won't lock in place. Anyone have any idea where I might find some new bracelet pins for the J12?
