  1. It has a V72 for sure, just didn't post a picture of the movement.
  2. Greetings all, Since this is my first post, I should mention that I'm grateful to RWG for all of the great information available here. It's really a lovely place to learn and admire the creations of others! I recently purchased a Valjoux 72 powered 6263 from a member on another forum. This one has an interesting history to say the least. It would appear that I'm the watch's third, and possibly fourth, owner. The story goes that the watch was originally assembled by a watchmaker in California and sold to a local buyer in 2009. A few years back it was sold to the watch's second owner and then to me recently. After extensive searching here, I've come up with some questions about the origin of this case. Originally I was thinking that it's a DW V72 case; however, the lugs are pretty thin in comparison. Moreover, the pusher indents on the back of the case look somewhat different as well. This got me thinking that it was perhaps an EE case; however, the caseback is thinner based on the old photos I've found. Of course, it could be fitted with a thinner caseback if the 7750 was explanted and replaced with a V72 (assuming that's possible). I know that some of the older DW V23/MM cases had thin lugs similar to this case after seeing an ancient picture from flex: (rwgforum.com/topic/85639-my-newly-re-assembled-6263/page__view__findpost__p__558775) However, I was under the impression that it is difficult, if not impossible, to fit a V72 into a V23/MM case. I'm wondering if this is some old version of a DW V72 case since there have been some changes over the years. Anyhow, I have attached some photos of the case. The quality is fair at best since I lack a proper macro lens, and these are 100% crops. The crown is gen as far as I know, and the bezel appears to be from Yuki. I'd appreciate any insight from the 6263 experts out there! Additionally, the watch has a few minor issues with the hands and dial. If anyone has a contact for service in the South Florida area, I'd be appreciative.
