The dial logo positioning looks very off to me.

Does anyone know if the TC crown tube would work on the USD?
http://tc-submariner.blogspot.com/2012/05/25-tc-rolex-crowntube-set.html
It should be the same 703 crown no?

Yikes, that sucks.
-
Ah so it has a weak bezel ring? I wonder if it will take an aftermarket replacement?
If that is the case getting a real bezel remover is probably the safest way.
-
Still waiting for it, but is there something special about the bezel on the ultimate that is different from other Rolex reps?
-
Very easy to remove the bezel but do it carefully and with a towel underneath to catch any flying parts like the click spring. Just use a butter knife wrapped in a microfiber towel or a plastic knife or spoon. Use force but don't warp the bezel itself.

Has anyone been able to get Texski to reply back?
-
I guess he must be very busy. I emailed him twice about an existing project and haven't heard back for about 1.5 weeks?
-
The case doesn't have enough CG metal but a lot of real gens do not anymore because they've been overpolished. You can definitely grind it down a bit and make it more gen.
The watch came with horrible orange colored markers, need to fix that.
Does anyone know if Yuki Tudor caseback would fit this one?

Case + Movement: http://www.yourtrust...products_id=216
Dial: http://ndtradingcorp...products_id=219
Hands: http://www.ebay.com/...=item27be8e2642
or
Now, I'm not 100% sure if the dial would fit the case or the movement. Do you guys think this should all fit together?
Thanks!

I will say eventually, he has always come through.
-
Its not just the mag cover it seems.
-
Hmm I think it's different, especially since it now has the mag cover that the previous one that was reviewed didn't.

Apparently this is a better version than the one recently reviewed here.
I asked Trusty but he has no idea if this will take the gen dial, gen crown, or a Swiss 2892. Any ideas?
-
Okay thanks guys, so he is basically a sometimes good maker of fake parts?
-
I sometimes see parts listed as having Yuki parts for both Rolex and Tudor, especially vintage. Is Yuki just a really good part maker?
-
Sorry who is KB or Bergie?
-
Where can I find a decent one of any of the above?
Looking to spend under $300 but hope for decent enough quality.
Thanks!
-
Hmm with a gen Mark XVI dial, datewheel, and hands... how close is this?
-
Interesting but how did you get the gen tachy to fit?
-
I think its very trivial to not click on a thread started by concepta if it offends you that much.
Either way, I do agree this forum has definitely declined.
-
Well I think that's an issues with any gen hands used to fit on an asian movement. Its common for all those mods.
-
How about TWB? The watch boys?
-
I've had some bad luck with one of my concepta watches... really bad luck...
But I will say he has been coming through for me.
Keep in mind, this isn't his full time job and its more of a hobby.
I know for me, hobbies take second place to what puts food on my table.
Best reps outside of Rolex and Panerai?

As far as I know these are the best with no further mods really required and have out of box quality:
IWC mark xvi
IWC vintage Ingy laureus
Bell and Ross digi analogue
Ebel 1911 panda chrono
Omega planet ocean without happy feet version.
Anything else to add?
