Thanks everyone for all the grea advice. 5 days latter, 900 revolutions both directions works perfectly. I turned it down to 600 and will see how that works but I'm just glad I have the winder working with the watch.

Thanks everyone! Very helpful. I put the watch into the winder after wearking it last night. It was working perfectly when I put it in. I set the watch winder for 900 revolutions both ways and will see how it goes. Lani, it's Wolf Designs winder.

I don't have enough watches to have "Lani's" problem but his post promted a NOOBie to ask hopefully a useful question for others or just a dumb question for me. I have no clue how to set my Wolf Watch Winder to keep my Gen Cartier Roadster Chrono working. I have no idea if certain movements need certain settings but my trial and error setting of the winder to get it to work with the Cartier isn't working. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

No worries, this is from my update:

"The crown fits OK, the lever touches, but does not push in that much, if at all. Although I do think it sits well, slightly away from the case (just like the gen picture I posted). When pulled out the crown just touches the inside of the crown guard, but it works perfectly fine"

So the crown does "feather" touch the inside of the CG, but it causes no problems, and makes no marks/noise when turned

In fact, the way I have measured out the crown stem, I don't think it touches at all! It is very, very close and maybe it gently brushes the CG sometimes, but it feels totally free when the crown is turned

Mickey, incredible watch and great mods. I have the DSN 027B and am thinking of getting the T48 Crown. I'm curious, did you change it yourself or send it out. If you changed it yourself, was it fairly straightforward? Thanks!

A member/dealer on RG sells them, and they do come up for sale in the sales area once in a while. I don't think many of the regular dealers carry it though. You could try Hont or even just email a trusted dealer and ask. But I'd say your best bet would be Sead of RG (RepGeek).
