it s a hit and miss.  i have had 6 of them, and as of now the longest running ones were the ones that have been serviced.

I thought the "R" stood for Real. But seriously Taaxed if you are uncomfortable with the whole rep franken concept than you are in the wrong place. But the price you pay is that you are giving up on the forums which tend to have a higher level of watch knowledge. Your average gen owner knows very little other than when it breaks you bring it back to the AD and it comes back mysteriously working again. There are plenty of gen owners here in addition to purist forums who are here for the shared watch knowledge and friendships. No one is pressuring anyone to buy reps but if they do offend you and you can't keep your thoughts to yourself you should probably move on.

I don't understand your question.. you're asking about where to send your watch, yet in your signature you have 2 other APs that are currently being modded by francisco as well as watches that have been modded by domi and concepta...

I'm guessing you should have a full servicing done on your chronopassion.. seems to me you already have the contacts and know-how to get this problem solved.

So i did buy this movement from flebay and did manage to get the hour wheel and canon pinion too. hope it will work out for a franken

I have hacked it as to not to make it worse.

I have received the beauty from Lay 7 weeks ago and now the second hand has started to flutter.
