I'm off to Taiwan on Monday for 2 weeks....I haven't been to Taiwan for about two years and I don't remember there being good rep watch shopping on my last trip. Have things changed? Are there some good spots in Taipei for quality rep watch hunting? I know that "River" is there but I don't think he would be willing to meet in person. Most dealers prefer to stay anonymous... Any advice from the community?

Ok...I'm going to throw out a crazy suggestion... How about a run of Baume & Mercier Riviera XXL date wheels? With a DW mod and AR-treatment, this watch could be 99.9999% to gen...I have two of these watches and would love to perform this mod. Your thoughts?

Nope...not mine...I'm not crazy enough drop $20K on any 6497-based watch. I had the chance to buy a 127 about 18-months ago for $11.5K...I guess I should have...Oh well!

There is a member around here that has an AWESOME 217 rep with the "upside-down" bridge...I wish I knew where he sourced it...

For #7...perhaps some light tapping with a rubber mallet on sides of the links could "tighten" up the feel and look of the bracelet? Just an idea...
