  1. This looks like the quartz version of the Slevin. Unless you just want to "test drive" for its size, I wouldn't waste your money on this. Lots of things wrong with this when compared to the A7750 rep, let alone the gen...
  2. That's an ugly car... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mxe3aToLfl4 I'm sure if performs like mad, but...
  3. Wow...that's quite a bit effort. Commendable...I typically wear shirts with French cuffs to alleviate this problem...Thanks for posting this.
  4. I think also that most people think having more than two watches is odd. I have over 20 in my collection and my friends and family think I'm nuts.
  5. Whatevs...I have a 6.75" wrist and I've rocked a 50mm U-BOAT for about a year. I say go with whatever you like the best. Hey Ronin...I'm still loving the modded BS that I bought from you! I'm taking it with me on vacation next week...
  6. Not too interested in rep shopping...Been there done that in other cities in China, but thanks though. I'm curious if anyone knows of any good restaurants, bars, clubs, or sites that I should not miss while I am there.
  7. We'll be staying in the Central Business District. This will be my first time in the city, so any suggestions?
  8. So my 2-channel system consists of B&K pre-amp and amp, and a NAD CD player. The speakers are a pair of VMPS RM1 towers. Love them! For my multi-channel set-up, I have a Marantz processor, Adcom amplification, PS3 for Bluray, Earthquake sub, and Magnepans all around. I'm debating on whether to go wireless with the sub to optimize placement. Has anyone ever used or auditioned the Sunfire wireless transmitters?
  9. Wow...thanks for noticing. My collection has taken a turn towards gens, but I still have a few select reps in my collection. Perhaps once I have more time on my hands, I'll be more active. I'm looking forward to a great 2011 and hope the same to everyone else! BTW...anyone else going to the WUS GTG in Baltimore next month?
  10. I'm going to take a wild stab in the dark and say... PU = polyureathane
  11. Wrong sub-dial layout for a 7753. I'm guessing it has a ETA 2824 with a Soprod chrono module. As for the $8K MSRP...that's laughable...
  12. Just curious to see if any of the members here also "waste" money on home audio systems like I do... I have a single, VMPS 626SE that I no longer need. I'm wondering if I should post it here for sale...
  13. That's frickin' AWESOME!!! The infinity-Tudor-wrist-check!
  14. Looks gen to me! Wear it well!
  15. Sawat, Have you tried looking under the "Watches, Clothing, & Accessories" section on the forum. All the "cartel dealers" have a section there. You can find lots of information there.
  16. Again...thanks for all the great feedback!
  17. Wow...thanks for the knowledge dump! Now...do I keep it?
  18. Thanks for the initial feedback guys! Let's see if any other PAM experts can chime in...
  19. Hey there PAM experts! I need some help in identifying this PAM 127 "Fiddy"... The movement is stamped ETA 6497-1 underneath the brass wheel. The front glass is sapphire. Aside from this, I don't remember which version this is. It's been "stuck" in my watch box for far too long, and I'm not sure if I should keep it...
  20. You can always change the date by advancing the hour hand, so you would lose the quick-set date function...
  21. Hmmm...How will go about fattening my wrist? Shake Weight maybe?
  22. Does anyone know if Breitling makes any of their 22x20 straps shorter than the "stock" length?
  23. Almost forgot...CONGRATS on the 928!!! Post some photos when you get her... And another thing, I've been on the prowl for a 964 ever since I started watching "Californication". Another timeless beauty from the Porsche stable...
  24. The 928 is a timeless design. Ever since I saw "Risky Business", I fell in love with the 928! I was on the hunt for a 928 a while ago. I settled on finding a '90 or '91 GT. I couldn't find a "reasonably" priced GTS at the time since collectors were holding on to them for their rarity. After researching the cars for about a month, I reluctantly decided that the routine maintenance costs were too much to bear since this car would be a daily driver. I settled on a NSX. I know...I know...completely different beast entirely, but it turned out to be the best sports car I've ever owned. As far as Porsche, I've had a 996 and Boxster S, but I still rank the NSX above those for comfort, ease of driving, and low cost of maintenance. For the purists out there, feel free to flame on...
  25. This made me laugh...Almost spit up my beverage!
