  1. my new 45mm pilot watch should ready in April/May/June here drawings of the case 45mm diameter 13.5mm high double AR coated sapphire glass (with blue print) i like it but had many problems with the high of case. Factory told me that the best high is 10.5mm but i want 13.5mm. Unitas in only 4.5mm high (IWC caliber is 8mm) and this makes that the movement and dial fits to deep in case. Mostly problem is the dial. It fit very deep in the case, but it wasn

Funny is that Silberstein bought his parts from same german factory like me. This deployant and bracelet are also on my watches now i

  10. i saw the genuine of this model on hand and can say it is a very bad looking watch. First i thought it is a rep, but it was at a german jeweler Wempe
  11. received today one more of this latest PAM rep movements which is called 60% swiss and 40% asian (available from Davidsen and Angus) and realize that the swan neck on this version is also NONE working it is not 100% working swan neck like on swiss movements no tension on swan neck so will say we have NONE rep movement with 100% working swan neck wondering what The Zigmeister will say...
  12. do you prefer a asian movement? sorry but can
  13. i will order 100 pieces from factory and will sell it here for special price (much cheaper as TC) but i need the dimension what is best? 24/24 or 22/22? and the lenght? 115/75? or what?
  14. genuine ETA 6497-1 - sure and some limited 6498-1 with swan neck and hand engraved etc.
  15. ETA is swiss movement all others (with or without ETA fake stamp) are asian
  16. same here for me The Zigmeister 16% price increase is only for larger quantity order (minimum 100 pieces) and Unitas "plain". Decorated 6497 movements are 35% higher price. For single order will the price increase higher for ETA 2824-2 movements pay now 90% more as in 2006. Nearly DOUBLE price
  17. i had use some time ago asian 6497 skeleton movements cause swiss skeleton 6497 aren
  18. @The Zigmeister i have similar info from my supplier. He told me also i should not worry about the availabilities of ETA movements/parts - only prices will go higher. ETA has stop only selling his ebauches to some companys. Some swiss companys (selitta, soprod) bought ETA ebauches and overwork them (decoration) and sold them for much higher price. ETA makes less profit on ebauches, but this companys makes high profit on decorated movements. And ETA want now sell also decorated movements and will make this profit for his own. Also will ETA accept customs orders from big watch brands and will build decorated movements special for this brands. but this factoys like Soprod, Choisi and other have bought many ETA ebauches for the future. So will they have ETA movements available for many more years. But otherwise will ETA stop the sale to small companys/factorys and it will be more difficult to get ETA movements for public. The prices will go automatical higher. ETA has a price increase of 8% in 2008 for Unitas "plain" movements and the distributors want additional 8% more. So we have here 16% higher prices on market for resellers. This resellers make the price additional 5% higher and the end-consumer pay finaly 23% more for a Unitas 6497. On other movements (2893-2, 7750 chrono) it will be much more as this 23% price increase. This exsample is only for "plain" movements... and prices for decorated movements from Soprod, Choisi??? HORRIBLE PRICE INCREASE
  19. The Zigmeister. I had never any problem with you or your opinions. I respect you and agree on most of your opinions. I had only a problem one time as you defame me and my prices - that
  20. i think this prices what The Zigmeister quoted are reseller prices and not public/retail prices. Public prices are higher.
  21. i will explain my opinion in few words swiss - asian movements - i have sold over 1000 watches with swiss 6497 and had only 2 defect watches - i have sold only few watches with asian 6497 and had many refunds with defect watches (after few months of work) swiss - asian case/parts - please change the crown guard on a asian PAM rep case or the screws on lugs... you will see after few times the screws will no more fit - please change the bezel or screws on my german made case... all will fit 100% after 50 times you have bought 3-4 asian watches and are happy. Ok. That
