Hurray,
I have my Navitimer01 back from repair and Revision. (Domenico, he's still the best)
The movement was sloppily mounted and hardly oiled (Like almost all the rep watches )
Now everthing is ok. It runs smoothly and accurately., and Domenico fixed the forgotten lume dots at the 3-6-9 position
I love this watch
There is no missing hour hand, it's 2:10 pm
Greatings from Bavaria

I have some Problems with my new Navotimer01 and I have to contact a watchmaker who repairs reps.
Is Domenico still do this?
I've no actual email address to contact him, but I want to give this Job to him, because he's the best in Germany.
Can somebody help me ?

Hi uomo1001,
yes, it's a great Job.
A few years ago I sent one of my watches to dominco and he did a perfect work.
Now I have a new problem child to repair and I have sipped his contact.
Do you know his email address ?
Thanks and Regards

yeap, it's the same one.
I hope you get the watch with all the lume dots
But don't be disappointed that the lumes are not so shiny and bright like on the pictures.

She's arrived !!!
I've made a quick and dirty foto of the watch, but what you can see is that the slide rule is no longer off white, it's white.
But there is only one fabrication error. The lums on 3-6-9 are missing. I had a little discussion with Andrew (Trustytime). He said it's normal, but I don't want to say anything about that.
Anyway, it's a very beautiful watch

Hello GentLe,
I know the age of this thread, but I've realized the pics view week ago.
The newer model with the fake minute counter looks pretty well, but I place more value on the functionality of the watch.
The sunken DW of the new 01 is not so flashy with the white font on black wheel.
I hink the watch will arrive today (black leather model) and I will take some pictures to compare.
Thanks

After viewing this amazing Navitimer pictures from Hansmeier, I've ordered one from Andrew Trusty.
I hope it will arrive this week. (I'm so exited).
Several Years ago I bought the Navitimer TT (my Profile Pic) and it's a good looking Navitimer exept the caseback.
OK the Navitimer 01 has some flaws, too, (sunken Datawheel, etc.), but Hansmeiers pics convinced me.
@Hansmeier
Absolut tolle und professionelle Fotos. Die Uhr sieht einfach fantastisch aus. Ich bin echt gespannt darauf.

So forward to 2011...
How is the gold plating holding up?
Hi sempire,
I have my Navitimer TT since 2 years now.
The gold plating is still perfect.
No scratches or spalling.
Last year I've spent a double AR Coating for the Navitimer and it looks GREAT.
cheers

damn ! you could've fooled me
especially that last shot
here's mine w/Chief's A/R on gen strap
Yes, I know what you mean.
I had the right angle with my camera. Absolute no reflection.
Mere Chance.
But your Navi is loking great, too.
Respect !

Is he the one Domenico uses?please give us some details, i am sure most guys in Europe would be very interested in more
details!!!
Thanks J
Yes, Domenico gave me the contact.
I think it's not fair to publish his name and Address here before getting a Go from him, because I think he's not a RWG member
But you can contact Domenico, I think he knows him better.
Thanks

Unfortunately a 7753 will not fit in that watch. To do a gen dial/7753 swap you will require a case from a 6-9-12 navitimer.
Hi Andreww,
Yes, I with you, but I asked Domenico and he told me "No problem" .
I don't know how, bit I think he knows what he says. (May the force be with him )
But a case from a 6,9,12 Navi will be not the biggest problem.

@ chronoluvvv
This AR Coating was made in Europe (Germany).
He's absolute recommended and unimpeachable
( I can't loose my eyes from this watch, but when you ask me what time it is, I've to look again )

hi there,
I purchased a gen strap for my Skyland in Germany from Uhrband24.com.
The price is 87 Euro ($ 121). I think it's moderate
I think they have absolute perfect straps.
It could be, that several colors not available immediately, but they order it for you.
It's light brown and it looks great
I think the darker chocolate brown strap is to dark for a SS watch
It looks better on a gold one
It will be a little darker at the time.
But it's a matter of taste.

Wow, Andreww,
exactly that kind of franken is what I need.
if anyone sells a watch like this, please give me a sign !!!

Hi By-Tor,
Don't think so, because Andreww has one with white dial and 28.800 movement in the shop.
My problem is the sunken datawheel.
I love the new version too and I wear it very often (workdays "Skyland" Weekend with better dress "Navitimer")
Is it the exposure of your photo, or are the subdials real white ?
Thanks
Friedhelm

Hello friends,
is it really true, that no dealer sells the Navitimer with 6-9-12 subdials in Two-Tone anymore?
I asked some dealers , because the watch still in their web-shops, but they told me that the 6-9-12 in TwoTone no more available.
Do anynody knows one, who has this watch in stock?
If possible with black or white dial and markers (I don't like the Numbers).
Thanks for help

Hi all,
thanks for the lot of replies,
It's nearly the same watch on the pics you posted.
The watch that I mean is the Heritage 46 with no subdials. (you can see it on the Breitling website)
This one looks absolutely fascinating.
Thanks Friedhelm

Hi All,
Last week, I saw a gen Heritage 46 with white dial an I must say, It looks great.
Have anyone seen this watch as a rep ?
I've allways found the classics with blue, brown or black dials, like the bezel.
I must say the Heritage 46 with white dial is an absolutely eyecatcher.
Thanks

You have one of the best right on your doorstep my friend!!
Try Bricollio, I think thats how you spell it, he is in Germany and does most of the servicing for the EU guys.
If you can't find him, look for Star69, he has his details in his sig!
Sixx
Thanks a lot,
I will try to cantact him.

Thank you all for the helpful replies.
The watch works perfectly with automatic winding.
I think I'm leaving my fingers away, but it's nearly impossible to find a watchmaker in germany who's servicing a rep.
Or do you know someone?
Thanks

Did you get grease in the two anti-reversing gears? :/ They are the little gears directly below the rotor.
I don't think so, but maybe ?
The gears looking clean.
Thanks

hi members,
I think I've done a mistake.
For reduce the spinning noise of the rotor, I gave it a little watch grease.(A 7750)
I removed it and put a little bit grease on the rear side of the bearing.
I've tighten the screw handwarm.
If I try to wind the watch with the crown it's very hard and the rotor spins.
Automatic winding with the rotor seems to be normal.
What have I done wrong with it ?
Can anybody help me ?
Thanks

Breitling Navitimer Question

Hello fishyy,
I bought a 2016 model of trusty some time ago.
(this is my)
https://rwg.cc/topic/167104-new-navitimer-01-first-impressions/?page=3
This watch is very close to the original. Definitely more than any other Navitimer Reps before.
Due to the black date display it is not very noticeable that it is deeper.
The slight rule is also more acute.
The only thing is that the subdials are closer together in the original.
But this is only visible with a very close look.
I am absolutely amazed by this watch
The only difference that I see with the newer JF factory....
It's gold
