  1. if u buy a rep - buy it from marvellous replica as all the other brown versions of the day date have the wrong shade of BROWN (its too brown and its a flat brown - which was the colour of the older generation tag carrera NON day date) Marvellous has two versions of this watch a red-brown dial version and a dark brown dial verion....always wanted to know which one looks closest to gen

  2. I ordered a TAG day date 43mm from supermirrors on RG and just wanted to give people the heads up that the rep 43mm brown dial is NOT the same type of brown as the gen. The previous generation of GEN tag carrera (non day date, just date only) had a brown dial that was like a flat brown in colour in gen form. This current generation of GEN brown dial day/date 43mm has a METALLIC brown dial that looks very sharp and gives a different hue of brown depending on the lighting. Really nice colour of brown IMO. Anyways, i suspect that the rep factories replicated the previous generation brown dial and thus not the current metallic brown dial colour.

Supermirrors is considered a super dealer over on RG. I am wondering if anyone has had similar experiences ie the colour of the dial being off on the brown dial day date when purchased from other dealers.....

  3. The only Radiomir that I really like. As I've made a deal with a member on one of these (luv dat ST19 movement :) ), I should have one in a few weeks. What size strap do they use though?

Apparently cartel stopped carrying these 2 yes ago. Drulee, u got a lead on these? I agree this is the only rad that I like also. The 214 is a close second

  4. i bought a Chopard Mille Miglia GTXL Chrono 2007 Grey LE A.7750 Valjoux Automatic, 28,800bph from a fellow geek. The watch seems to keep time well, but if i wear it all day, and put it down at night it will stop working after 7 hrs. it wont even last the night wrt PR.

I read a post from The Zigmeister stating that sometimes after a watch has been sitting for a while to wind it up in order to get the oil moving etc

if i wind the watch up about 25 turns, the watch will hold power for about 20 hrs after putting it down. I beleive the expected PR for the a7750 is 36 hrs.

Either way, the watch should be able to hold power for more than 7 hrs after wearing it all day with NO winding at all.

Anyone have any insight regarding this matter? could this be a sign the movement needs servicing? if so which servicing would u suggest?
