I would presume that the re engraving would be to the same original serial.
What are the tell tale signs that the case is aftermarket? Your knowledge is much appreciated.
Am I correct to say that the serial number of 3,42x,xxx means that it is meant to be a Red Submariner? I thought the white subs came in after or during 1974 (4,000,000+ Serials). So this is in fact a red sub?
Also, is the 93150 bracelet a replacement bracelet? I thought that the 9315 bracelets was used up to after 1974.
I would use my CC via paypal. That is the best protection.
The seller is looking out for himself too but I think the risks are too high. If you cant pay using your CC via paypal then I would suggest you walk away.
My CC has refunded every purchase that I did not receive.
I am so sorry to hear that.
If you used your CC via Paypal, you can submit a disputed transaction form to your CC company and they will sort it out for you. And furthermore, you will receive a credit into you CC account before they fully resolve the issue. Whenever I buy anything online, I use my CC as they guarantee every online purchase.
I hope it gets sorted out.
Good to see that its working and looking good. The smart thing I did was to use my CC via paypal. I filled in a disputed charge form and got my money back from my CC and Paypal. So it ended well.
I ve fixed the keyless, now the trick for me is to put the date wheel back on blindly. There is a Rolex flat 3 silver overlay glued on the datewheel and therefore the teeth are hidden by this. Are there any tricks to get the wheel on with the overlay hiding the teeth?
