  1. Your posts are still there, Pug..
  2. And Landis might go free on a technicality.. Good or bad?
  3. I'll give Norway a try: NORWAY: Very liberal laws Sometimes used as a transit country. Companies who want their trademarks to be illegal to replicate/counterfeit/use etc need to apply for a "temporary precautionary conjunction"(TPC).. (Midlertidig forføying in norwegian). This will last for 12 months, and then they have to apply for a new one. If the company does not have a valid TPC registered, customs and police is instructed to let the goods pass as legal goods. (Unless, of course, it's represented as genuine) It basically means they can't touch you unless the trademark is protected by a TPC. If they do have one, penalties are non-existant for the common man, prison time is upto 3 months (conditional) for the big time dealers who also get rather small fines. Norwegian members feel free to correct me in PM (so we don't clutter this topic up), and I'll change whatever we agree on.
  4. Oh not at all, Kenberg! I don't know your wife.. but I bet she'll wake up smiling and go "what's that beautiful music?" And will make you breakfast and be all refreshed and stuff.. And who knows? ..there might be some mornin' crazy koala dance in it for you.
  5. Yeah! That's a classic! I'm thinking of this guy when I struggle my way through the "normal" version on a normal guitar..
  6. Thanks Tim! I know exactly what you mean with the bone dry! And I don't know how many pairs of jeans I have bought at 34" inseam, only to wash it once and it's that annoying 1/2" too short after. 36" is an inch too long, and 34" is one too short.. I hang most of my "delicates" though, I hate shrunk up clothes. I mostly use the dryer for socks and towels.. And I use a professional service for my suits and finer shirts. Saves me ironing and such.. (Not that I suit up that often) I'll have to try this machine for its silk program though!
  7. Thanks Tim! We don't use gas here in norway, only restaurants and places like that. So it's all electrical.. I decided to go for the Miele W 2888 Navitronic. Original price was higher than I wanted to go for; $2750, but being a friend, the seller cut me a good price if I decided quick, as they have had it on the showroom floor for a while.. Not many people go for the high-end washing machines. ..I'll be disappointed if this don't last a while! It's cooler than I thought! Huge LCD and lots of settings.. It's like a gadget for laundry! They deliver it in a few hours, heavy thing at 100kgs! Fuzzy logic!!
  8. Got a call from a friend in one of the shops now.. He Can get me a great deal on a Miele.. http://uk.shopping.com/xPF-Miele-W2888WPS
  9. She'll look right cute in my Arsenal shirts and woolly longs.
  10. HEHE! How did I KNOW one of these would pop in here? How does she go about the 1400rpm spin cycle? Run around the wee cottage?
  11. Well then! We seem to discuss just about anything here, so since I have some doubts, I'm asking you guys. I have no doubt some of you have researched washing machines thoroughly at some point. I've searched the net, and checked out the local shops today, and to my surprise they have huge stocks and a variety of models to choose from. They all push the usual seller BS though.. So.. What washing machine should I buy? Criteria: Well known and tried brand. Frontloader (cause it'll be in a stack set-up.) Silent At least 1400rpm spin cycle Needs to take 5-6 kgs of laundry Easy to operate (for me) Child-secure (some kind of [censored]-lock) Price: Just about any, as long as it's worth it. (I wont be cheap with this one) My old machine went to the shits 2 days ago, I have changed the bearing it it once, and I wont bother again, it was a lot of work, and it's a cheap 7 year old Ariston. -TG-
  12. So it's "kinda" like what this guy did? Leenk: Fiddylicious
  13. I'll go for dumb.. Though you'd think a guy with enough knowledge to swap movements and [censored] would know that the e0851-case would be an easy give-away.. ..and posting it in a gen forum like that, flaunting the back of the watch, he'd be called out.
  14. You've probably all seen this movie, but here are some highlights! It's come to be how I see scotsmen! He's a Celtic supporter too, JTB. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UWVMPtDulqc
  15. We'd all have to leave our automatics at the sideline though.. ..and a B&R or a bulky PAM would knock some teef out for sure!
  16. Eto'o? ..we'll take him! ..come summer. He's black and not english.. he'll fit right in. Did you get my PM-reply, DBR?
  17. It's all been said really.. The Arsenal looked so much like they have done in recent cup and league matches that I didn't expect anything near the end.. Where was Hleb? Where was Rosicky's altruistic and defence-splitting runs down the left/middle? Cesc should have scored it, so should Henry.. Adebayor didn't pass the ball enough, wanting to show he's IT now. Senderos is turning into a new Cygan.. It was miserable.. Van Persie is missed up front in games like these, and I'd like to see Ljungberg play, as he's the one who always manages to bring the ball into the box, no matter how stressed out he looks. I fear the away goal at The Grove, but I am sure we'll pull through and stick in there for a few more games. I refuse to applaud PSV though.. They did in no way impress me.
  18. Thankee, TT.. But that was my new Rado dress watch! ..it's a bit bling for everyday use though. I've found my way back to Frusciante's music, and felt I should honour him with an avatar in this great forum. ps: Does anybody know how I set the triple date thingy without having to turn the crown 3 million times? I can't seem to find more steps on the stem, and turning it the other way doesn't do anything. The date window reads: e.g 3WED27 (3 being the weekday number) Please send me a PM -TG-
  19. Damn! I actually feel proud of calling you guys fellow forum members! You'll not see this kind of sacrifice ANYWHERE else online!
