Similar to By-Tor I have been offline for some years 😉 

I was checking on some of the "old-times" trusted dealers and could not find a single one! Is there something like a "buying guide" out there that is valid in 2021?  I highly feel the need of buying one or two new reps and some replacements (bracelet etc.) for existing ones.

Any help is highly appreciated!

Alright, thanks for sharing your opinions on that one. All local buddies who saw the pic asked me about the misaligned "B" without telling them before (all three of them). Anyways, no matter how bad it really is, I asked to source me a new one.

My dealer told me, he's gonna send it back to the factory and will order a new one.

thanks for answering my post from the dealers point of view, though I'm not really sure if I know what you meant. Was it "okay" in your opinion to ask for a new one? What would you have done as a buyer?

just received two pics of my Ebel 1911 Discovery from my dealer. It looks like the "B" from "EBEL" is not aligned properly. What do you think? What to do, not to be impolite?

In all seriousness (is that a word?) just get a blade under that bezel, like a Daytona 6263, and work your way around, prying gently. Be patient and it'll pop up. Then put it exactly where you want it, and press it back on. I use a hockey puck with a strategically sized hole in the middle.

You wanna know what's a real tough guy? It's someone who handles his bills, family, parents and friends, and behaves nicely and respects other people. It has nothing to do with fighting skills or benching huge numbers. When you get older you'll eventually realize it too.
