wow, nice pearl! nothin like a gen. Is it really that hard to rep a little pearl? i guess it could be some mysterious rolex substance like rolesium or steelinox. perhaps plasticomium or something?
-
I sleep with all of them on, in case there is a fire.
-
really like this watch? I just think it looks soo evil
-
Sadly, I believe the subdial spacing would be off on a rep of that watch since the rep movement is based on the 7750, and the gen is 2894.
That means the crown and pushers would be in-line on the rep, unlike a modulare 2894. a definate tell.

I owned one also and the wenger gst. both great watches.

uh, shouldn't you be posting that over on TZ?

well, growing up in the east, which we all know is above reproach, i didn't learn about the differences in the south until i joined the army. There are still people from the south who would bear arms and rise up against the north if they had the chance. They are still plenty [censored] off about the civil war. Upon arriving at a college infested with canadians, i also learned they are not our "little buddies up north," rather they harbout immense comtempt for Americans. I have not been to europe but do realize it to be the foundation for all we hold dear about our society. We just took it a step further.

do i know you?

yeah, kinda purple/blue

reminds me of one of my favorite ac/dc songs off high voltage
-
Ah, the subject makes sense now
Nice pics of what looks like an excellent Sub.
thanks Pug. Your comment is really appreciated! I replaced a nymphomariner with this. The differences, although subtle, are obvious.

Yeah... what is this talk about some bands that don't know when to quit. As you can see Eddie is in great shape.
not the way i want to remember them, he looks horrible. My preference is def DLR, the old DLR. I suffered through one or 2 of his radio broacasts when howard left but he is now far from the guy i grew up loving. My fav band is ac/dc and i really wish they would quit. There are alot of really great new bands out now that i would rather see.

Well, I don't think you're a [censored]. Get over it.
I'll let your sarcastic "you're awesome" slide, shall I? Come on, what is your problem with my not wanting to organise a group buy?
maybe because we all know if we are going to get it done, you are our best hope.
-
My not wanting to ask my brother to get involved is based on that extrapolation. I would like to hear where it is faulty. Based merely on the number of PMs I've had from people asking me to get them these watches at that sort of price, I believe my estimates are correct, if in fact a little conservative.
If I were to have taken people up on their requests, I would be inundated with orders, and I would be in direct competition with other established dealers, and all this without paying RWG. Josh, Trusty and probably a few others have most likely already blacklisted me and I can see no point in cutting off what goodwill I have with the few remaining dealers that will sell me watches and this forum's established dealer structure.
What the [censored] do I owe you people? Why am I supposed to bend over backwards for a community that hasn't really done me that many favours? Is it a penance I must do to placate the members that feel I've wronged their best friends, Josh and Trusty?
ps. I didn't call you names. I reserve that honour for people I don't like.
you call me a [censored] in my post, that i am not, and name calling really is puerile. then you assume based on my postings that i could be a [censored] if my timepiece didn't arrive on time. that is the extrapolation i am speaking of, and that conjecture is the epitome of mendacity.
-
If you react so badly to a post, how much of a [censored] would you be if your watch were late?
name calling, great. and that extrapolation is not logical.
-
Let me put it like this, if my brother is going to risk his Thai visa (and therefore his career) over smuggling counterfeit goods, he will want some compensation. However, if there's a risk-free way of getting them, sure, I'm in.
I actually got angry when I read your post but I am calm now.
yes me too, i calmed down too. it seems that you want to reap the benefits of others risks, including your brothers, but don't seem to want to help others source these highly desired pieces.
-
the side shot of the case doesn't look good. the lugs are too sharp. the HEV looks off also.
-
Sure, but at that point we'd charge the same as all the other dealers. Why? Because that's what they're worth.I think you missed my point. If you can manage this, I'm in 100%.
So what your saying is, if your brother gets them, you will mark them up to the price other dealers sell them for, but if the group buy works you will ghet them at our price? Hey thanks man! your really awesome!
bye the way, I am in if it can be done.
-
thanks Pug. Maybe with a group buy over 10 he can get them for $200.

A fair question, an answer would shut this leonado fellow up. What his deal anyway?
I dont know but he led Pug to the gold, so for now he seems very credible.
